these idiots call my fax line repeatedly

i have no debt in collection

a message was left on my vm from this number.  it was a recording that said it was Jason Koontz from something like wynberger, doggenblair & sampson trying to collect a debt.  it sounded fishy because it was asking for my maiden name ... do not trust it!

I was getting harrassing phone calls every day from the same recording. Jason Koonz from Winelogger, Doggenblair and Sampson law offices. I called them and they wanted my  SS#. I knew they were fising so I turned the tables on them. I told her I knew I had no debt in collection and they could only call me 3 x's a week. I wanted their address and information and she hung up on me. I think I will keep calling them everyday.
I called my AG's office and reported them. There is a complaint on file in WA State. Don't trust these slime buckets. Just report them right away.

They keep calling my fax almost every day. I have no debt!!!!

These guys are trying to collect on a parking ticket I had for an expired parking meter back in 1996.  Good luck with that!

do people really respond to a message saying "you NEED to call me"...about ever hinting as to why? And, given they don't hint as to why, what possible good could come of it? This is another expired parking meter ticket...Denver....geesh, I can't even remember how far back this goes, but probably four to six years. Is this really a profitable line of work, LOL? In an economic downturn? Thanks for the information from the above folks.

I have a near-perfect credit score & no outstanding debts.  Based on comments above, it appears this is a collection agency.  Do Not Call registry has way too many loopholes - we're getting more calls from 800 & 866 numbers now than we ever did when we were not on the list!  I refuse to answer them.

How did they know I was a sucker for an English accent?  Too bad they did not realize I have near perfect credit, review my credit scores religiously and have no outstanding debt.  I think I might call them back just to harass them!
On a side note, I am sensing a trend with the previous posts...Denver.  I used to live in Denver a few years back but never got so much as a parking ticket.

they are a chain collection agency that deals with the government.  yikes

This company called for a parking violation from 6 years ago.  They also made several false accusations towards me regarding the vehicle in question.  Filing a complaint with BBB regarding this company and its practice.  Debt collection is one thing, false accusations are another.

This Gentlemen called me regarding a parking ticket back in April 2004, which I paid, I got to thinking I never heard of the city having people to contact people for parking tickets, if people didn't pay they would just put a boot on your your car, and so I called the #  back and a different gentlemen with the same foreign accent answered the phone so I kept calling back to harass them.

Got a call about a debt collection from a Danielle Breem? with an english accent...left msg on my parent's voicemail....same lawfirm.  I lived in the Denver area until 2006.

I also have great credit and no debt that could be in collection.  I'm glad y'all have posted your experience with this.  I think I'll just ignore it.

Mr Martinez called with a file number regarding a personal issue. Linebarger Goggan Blair and Sampson, law firm. I asked Mr Martinez if he was a attorney. He did not give a yes/no answer. Said it was a personal matter. Sounds like a scam to me. We have no collections issues!

Received a call from the number today.  They asked for Michelle Hayes.    I hung up.
