I just received a call from Hillcrest, Davidson & Associates .  I just told them that she wasn't home.  His name was Tony Snow who called me.  There is to many Scams going around trying to get money from people.  Don't talk to them and report that they call you trying to get money from you.  

I had a system installed in my home which was not currently monitored and Firstline came along and upgraded my panel and agreed to monitor the system. Firstline Security then became Vision Security. I had problems with them taking my payments out twice for not only the installation fee but monthly fees.  When I contacted my bank to place a stop payment on Vision Security, Vision changed my account number in their system and forced the automatic payment through anyway. I had the same problem with the system not working and trying to get someone out to repair it.  Never could get anyone there so when I got a collection call recently I told them to stop calling me and send me something in the mail.  Haven't seen a thing and since I already told them to stop calling and they still do they are in violation of the FDCPA for failing to stop.  I have to write letters to the credit reporting bureau to have them dispute the charges.

They have called twice. They wanted to speak to my mother both times.  The first call was a woman, very rude, when I asked what the call was in reference to she refused to tell me.  I told her my mother was deceased and she wanted me to send her a copy of my mother's death certificate.  I told her I was not sending her a copy of the death certificate if she could not tell what this was for.  She hung up on me.  The second caller was a man.  Same thing, wanted to speak to my Mom.  I told him she was deceased.  Again, he wanted proof. Again, I said no if he could not tell me what this was for.  He hung up on me.

8665249866 and 8007571744 tired of these calls how can I sue them??? No one lives here of names they keep asking for do not have there address and this is harassment, I told them to back off or else then they hung up, hahahaha, theses are evil peoples I am on do  not call list why is that not working?????

i keep getting calls [harashed]by a david hillcres t866-542-9855 please stop !! a secuarty system was put in my  home on a non appoment day son let them in !! put on wrong wall . removed put on another wall ...leaving wholes in 1st spot .would go off and sheriffe showed up a few timed came back put a cell phone chip in  it , has not worked right and is not useable as it seems to be locked up in side it will not work ! only good for weather forcast on wall .i have ask 4 it to be removed many times !!wel now getting call after call ,draw ssi have bad cridet and no bank nothing in my name as i own nothing !! live on 700 a mo for 18 yrs and c if u have things in ur name lol bye bye !!

A person from this number called me very aggressive and threatening, they also called my children looking for me. This is illegal

I have the exact same problem , only with monitronics alarm system , and it cost me 23 point on my credit report , those idiots didn't realize yet , that they worked for scam company , hillcrest collection is bad news for the honest people out there.and I don't think that they have the right to screw up your credit report like that..

This company is f****** stupid I'm not even in their database but yet they call I answer my phone then hang up I called him back and that's when they tell me I'm not in their database what kind of scam company is this they're using a robo calling system to call everybody probably because they can't find out the actual phone numbers of the people they're really looking for so they just start calling at random

Called me at work on my cell and saying something about a debt and hung up the phone and blocked them.  The call was at 10:48 Friday morning, April 29.2016.

The number shows up several times a day on our caller ID. When you answer the phone, no one answers you back. They wait 15 or so seconds and hang up.

I got a letter from this "law firm"  Ha!  for an alarm company called Elevate.  they sent men around the neighborhood over 7 years ago and then went out of business without any warning.  Monotronics took over supposedly.  I got ripped off by Monotronics for $800 because they said that they never got the equipment back that I sent.  They told me they had been monitoring when the equipment was never installed in the first place.  So, I never got my money back.  Elevate now is filing for $4,000 for nothing.  They never existed, the website was bogus and then Monotronics was a rip off too.  I told them on the phone they were a scam and "cease and desist".  Now what should I do?  I have a great credit rating so am furious about this whole thing!!!!

Got 4 calls from these jokers.  Had my name and that of my "wife" (never been married.  I asked for the last 4 digits of this dude's SSN, which do not match mine.  Am told that my number will be removed--and then I received another call.  Contacted my state's Office of Consumer Protection, which prepared a letter for me to sign and send, to these bottom feeders.  Gives the federal laws they are violating and warns of legal action if calls continue.  Was told to send it by certified letter, with return receipt.  Will see what happens.

Hillcrest Davidson and Associates is not a scam.  HDA has clients who give us names and info from their customers who have gone into default and not pay their bill.  Hillcrest will call to try and collect the money due. No, HDA is not trying to collect money from people and saying they owe "US".. they owe our clients.

Today I received a call from 8665249866. Was asked if my name was --? I said yes. He asked about the last four of my ss#. I said yes. He asked if I was fimilar with a address? I said no. He said their client gave them my name associated with my phone number. He stated he was calling from Hillcrest Davidson and Associates to collect a debt. He also said he wanted to make sure he was contacting the right person before it goes to collection. He said he got the information from their client a few months ago. I explained I have not lived in that state for several years and have not used that last name for over 20 years. He said someone used my name to buy a alarm system. I asked for the address again. He said if I found out about who live there to call him. I asked for his name he said Matthew. I Google the address and it is a Alcohol Recovery Center.

Got a call from this number and its "Hillcrest, Davidson & Associates" in Texas (Debt Collector). They asked for my husband and when I said he wasn't in, they hung up. I called back and was told that I have a collection for an alarm system that I had installed in Georgia!! Haha, never been or lived in Georgia!!! Spoke to Joel and Joel said it was on my credit and hung up on me. I called back and found out that my name came up on this "Alarm" account, but wrong person. The MARKETING department had called originally a few minutes ago for my husband and when I called back I got the "collection department", not the marketing department!! WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ARE YOU RUNNING??? DEAR F'N GOD!!

Someone called asking for my husband by name, and when said, "May I ask who's calling?" they replied, "Yeah, it's _____ (some name) with Hillcrest."  I am not familiar with Hillcrest, but since my husband was out, I asked to take a message and have him return the call.  They guy actually laughed and said he would call back another time.  Probably won't get him then either! haha
