Interested in a class action lawsuit?

This man identifying himself as Austin Kitchen at 1-877-311-7782 called me this morning looking for my daughter.  When I tried to find out what the call was in reference to, all he would say was that it was "a very important matter that had crossed his desk and he needed to contact her right away before the matter became costly and couldn't be resolved".  When I asked exactly what all that meant, all he would say was the "privacy laws protected his right not to reveal that information to me".  I passed the information on to my daughter but all she got was music and an answering machine when she tried to call.  In the meantime, I found this site and called her telling her to hang up and not contact these people.  I, too, am convinced that it is a scam.    I do hope some legal minds can put a stop to this activity.

they called my dad today and asked them tohave me get a hold of them  when i did they couldnt answer anything  and they said something about a 1099 fromn the IRS  a 1099 is a intrest document

i started asking them questions that they could answer.

I called my buddy who is a police officer   he called them and both numbers were disconnected I think i might have scared them

I asked my buddy to talk to his co workers and try to start a investagation on them I know they are scam artist.

(405) 212-3105 is the number they are calling me from - a local number in Oklahoma City.  They keep asking for me by my maiden name - I've been married for 5 years!  They keep calling saying it's an extremely urgent matter.  When I return the call I just get music...  They won't say what CRA is, what it stands for or the purpose of the call.  I won't verify my name to them so they start yelling at me!  The man was EXTREMELY rude and when I asked more questions he just hung up on me!  I'd love to know more about whoever this is and make them stop harassing people...  count me in on any lawsuit!

The above link explains what the 1099 form is all about that these [***] keep referring to.  It's a FORGIVEN or settled debt.  The company whom you have settled with or been forgiven by files this form with the IRS and you must count the forgiven amount as income on your taxes.  These guys have nothing to do with the process...  they are using scare tactics using terms most people are unfamiliar with in order to last-ditch-effort collect on the debt that has just or is just about to be forgiven by the creditor.  Ignore them or even better yet - LAUGH in their faces.  That should discourage them from calling again.  I'd still rather sue their a$$es though...  =o]
