My husband got a letter which diretcs "Valued Cardholder" from "Sears Credit Services" including this number although he doesn't own that card. Plus, they spelled my husband's name wrong. I hate to see my husband's credit report messed by some skeptical actions.

i got a letter offering deferred interest promotion on a Home Depot Card that i do NOT own.  also a return address PO Box 6281 Sioux Falls, SD 57117-6281.

I got the exact same letter as edgey above. Sounds  very legit. Have to hold due to "high call volume"  When they answered, I told them my concern and the first thing they asked for was my social security number.  I'm going to take the letter to the USPS and file a mail fraud complaint.

I got a letter of notice about my Volkswagen Service Card Agreement that ends in a certain number, They are advising me that the late fee is being increased. The letter is from Sioux Falls, SD. They spelled my name wrong.
they give me various numbers to call for questions, assistance, promotions and  if I don't agree with changes {they will go into effect}.  Numbers include 1-888-343-1127 , 1-888-293-5292, 1-888-533-2468 and 1-888-944-2227.

Similar letter received in mail 5/2018. I do not own a Volkswagen.  I do not have a Volkswagen Service Card account.  Letter mentions I must call 1-888-293-5292 should I reject these changes (in section Important Changes to Your Account Terms) concerning increase in late fees or I could write to PO Box 790394 St Louis, MO 63179.  Other numbers also given for promotional offer update (1-866-533-2468, 1-888-944-2227).  Name also misspelled.  Address on letterhead:  PO Box 6753, Sioux Falls, SD 57117.   Letter sure reads like a scam.

After replying to Flint's post above, I called 1-888-343-1127 this AM and found it is a legitimate phone number and card.  It is a Drive Card (one I have used very infrequently at a nearby service garage for oil change).  The woman on phone did apologize for company's mailing stating Volkswagen Service Card and also incorrect spelling of my name.  What read like a scam letter was really legitimate.

I received a letter with no letter head. Only Box number 6753, Sioux Falls, SD 57117-6753. It mentions Home Depot, and the last numbers of a card, which is not my number.
