Phishing e-mail claims to be from Chase Bank and tells you to call this number. I had the e-mail checked by Chase Online Security and they said "PHISHING E-MAIL-DO NOT RESPOND"

I received an email from Chase Bank to call this number 866-564-2262. I called the number on the back of my debit card to confirm the number. Chase Bank confirmed that this is the number to their fraud department. Upon followup, this was regarding a claim I had made on a fraudulent charge to my account. Everything was on the up and up.

I Received message on my answering machine a call from chase bank 8665642264 (it's fake number for chase I presume  ) If you call fake number  ..the message number wanted my cc number I hung up called number from my card they said they never called me

866-564-2262 corrected number from above IS A SCAM!!! Don't call back its prompts  you put in you cc number ..alert..

Just received an email from the same number as all the above. Glad I looked the number up. What a joke. These people suck!

Received e-mail as above and called the number and a very good copy of the Chase automated voice prompt had me thinking it may be real but then was told to input my CC or Account number (I didn't) and sat on hold for several minutes. A women answered and asked for my name and account number? I said I can give the claim number and was told they can only access my account with my information.  I happened to be right by the bank branch when it came in and asked the manager who told me to forward e-mail to abuse@chase.com.

Can you believe?  I stayed at an Econolodge in Beaumont, TX - they inadvertently charged my card for the entire upcoming week after I checked out ($143 first night, $129 second night) because I told them I may return this next week.  I was in the process of calling the owner when I got this fake, scamming email from supposedly Chase.  If you look at the email, it is not from Chase, a bogus account using chase in their name...and directing you to another website and asking you to change your password, asking for account info.  Wonder who is scamming or if it's a group effort with merchants.  I hope they are not related.

I received an email that appeared in my Yahoo junk mail folder. It looks like a legitimate email from Chase Bank but IT’S NOT!  If you call the number you’ll be prompted to enter your full account number or debit card number. I waited for a representative (Asian sounding female) who asked for my full account number, debit card number, or social security number. I offered the claim number provided in the email but they wouldn’t take it. I told her I would contact my bank in person and she hung up. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION THAT CHASE SHOULD ALREADY HAVE!  This is a scam!!

Received an email regarding a phone call I made pertaining to a claim and requested that I complete a form. I did not make any phone call so that made me suspicious and did not follow through on their request. I searched the source of the number online only to find all these comments about it being fraudulent.

Received an email regarding a recent call (didn't make one recently) regarding a fraud complaint and stated had documents for review. Told me to go to a site and creat an account which is separate from my chase account. Left this number. Called chase directly using a number from their site,  they said not one of theirs and to fwd the email to abuse@chase.com

USPS mail claiming to be from Chase Bank. It says to fill out form to verify fraudulent charges. It’s a SCAM! Called bank and they want all documents to catch these thieves.

I received a voicemail from this number saying there was a hard inquiry on my chase account. when I called it back the message was from Verizon stating this number has been disconnected.

I called and verified that this number is an actual Chase number. It is the number for the claims department.
