Dream Scholars Foundation is cold calling people and trying to sell overpriced SAT study materials. They come on nice and friendly appearing very helpful with information about colleges and SAT. They have your child's name, address and phone number when they call. The bottom line is they are after your credit card so they can make unauthorized charges on it. I played along with it until they asked for my credit card. I NEVER give out my credit card to someone who calls me cold. What really concerns me is HOW did they get my child's home information? After talking to my child I have determined that the information came from forms filled out for the PSAT. I will be calling the College Board (www.collegeboard.com) as to how Dream Scholars Foundation got my child's information. I would suggest people who have been defrauded by Dream Scholars Foundation do the same to make the College Board aware of what is going on.

i got that call twice today. told them my parents weren't available. thought i might be in trouble so i checked out the number online. guess it's a scam, i'll tell my parents.

they called me next day after my son registered for SAT. Same thing, said my son asked for study materials but they needed my permission and CC to send.  I asked when he asked for the guides, she said he checked boxes when registering. When I said how strange, b/c I was sitting right beside him when he registered and we did not request any study guides.  We had already found them at the public library.  She said she must have the wrong family and she hung up.

I got one of these a few years ago when I was in Junior year, and I told the man quite bluntly to go screw himself due to the fact he was yelling at me and I said "this is a professional service, more like professional childish service" and hung up

My son just got one of these with his name correct. No such box was ever selected, of course. Someone is selling our children's information.

I said no and kept asking who is this.
He kept saying peter.peter.peter....
as if he was really nervous
Then, I asked, "why are you calling?"
he said," sat scores" really quietly then hung up..
he is seriously not normal..

Have gotten several calls from the number. Answered today to tell them to stop calling. Got the same story about Prep Course. As soon as I said would have to discuss with spouse, they started with the, "hello, hello, can you hear me" and then hung up!

Got the same call...my daughter supposedly filled out something for SAT prep course...funny they hung up when I asked them to identify themselves.

We keep getting mail/calls for a "Lauren" T__________(our last name).  We do not have a child named Lauren; this is a huge mix up of names.  However, when the guy called, he was a real smart-a$$ and hung up on me.  I did *69 and got the number.  I called it and a recording says that # is no longer in service.

My aunt got a call, and some guy was asking for my parents, i new if it was the school it would have said it on the caller id and if they really needed my parents they have her cell number. i looked up the number and it's a scam, my mom was thinking i got in trouble...don't answer it

This number called my house phone and spoke the following to my son:  Sorry to bother u but are you Jeff Marks son.  We were not home and my son hung up on them.  When we went to call the number back it is not in service.

Got a call from this guy at 8:45 pm this evening.  Asked for my child by name which I refused to verify.  Something about an SAT prep kit.  I politely asked to be taken off their call listing, informed them I was on a national and state DO NOT CALL LIST, and said good night.

I was a bit nerous so I checked out the number.
I said "This is Tracy but my parents are not home. Can I take a message?"
And he hung up on my face!

The guy called and asked for Courtney's parents, he said his name is scott.... who is this guy he calls alot.

Male called ask for my daughters parents by name when I explained I could not hear him he became angry and yelled maybe if I listen I could hear and hung up on me.   Someone needs to put a stop to this.

got a call from this number they asked for the parents of my daughter when i replied this is she they hung up.

Just got the smae call and i told them my parents wernt availible and if i could take a message and he just hung up on me! wierd and creepy
