- Frank, Las VegasGot same letter as everyone else, bit i didn't get a call. The number on mine is 866-927-1380. Still the same scam. I shredded it.
- Lisa Bham AlGot the same letter today. My husband said they called about a week ago to give him a free gas card. The number on mine is 1-866-684-0792. This is such a scam i wonder how these people get our info. I hope they get in trouble with the BBB.
- TheMailmanI didn't get the call (that I know of) but got the letter with the envelope hand addressed and no return address. I questioned it and checked the NET and realized this is definitly a scam and with the mail, mail fraud which I plan on turning over to the postal inspectors.
- Shelby, ALReceived same letter as everyone else in plain white envelope whith hand written address to me with postmark from Toledo,OH 2 free airline tickets $1400.00 value and $100.00 free gas voucher. Didn't call either, first checked online and found this site and will not call. I was suspicious to start with. If it sounds to good to be true it is. They didn't call me either.
- Caller: Colbert & Johnson
- milo wrightnutsounds like b. s. to me send it to the shreader. why dont they send out the tickets if I've already won ???
- Nae in ALGot the same letter. John Creech is still V.P. in mine. I will definitely be tossing this one.
- JonathanSame song, 23rd verse. This letter seemed dodgy, so I looked it up on yahoo, which led me to this page. Glad I didn't call. There's just no end to the fraud these days...
- Caller: Colbert & Johnson
- Henderson NVJust thought I'd post that I also received the letter in the plain white envelope with my name and address handwritten on the outside with no return address. I wonder... who took the time to hand write all those envelopes? They have nice handwriting! They did not call me (I do not have a land line home phone), but the letter asked that I "Call Today!" at 866-927-1380.
- Caller: Colbert & Johnson
- CHGot this letter today in B'ham. Postmarked from Augusta, GA and in a hand written letter with no return address. Looked like a scam and this site has confirmed this. Mine is signed by a Bart Stone.
- bdI received the same letter today. I stayed at The Summit in Gatlinburg 2 weeks ago. I paid for the condo with my credit card (my name on card), but the letter was addressed to my husband (first name on the credit card account). That is the only place we paid by credit card and I'm guessing that who sold my address.
- John"I wonder... who took the time to hand write all those envelopes?"
Can easily be done with a computer. I use a similar font to teach my daughter about cursive writing styles. The idea these bottom feeders is trying to convey is they are "familiar" with you, somehow seeing your name handwritten makes it appear someone who knows you is trying to contact you. Just another example of how these guys are going out of their way to conceal their intent and bait you into calling. - WalkerGot the same letter, white envelope no return address, same bogus story about trying to contact me, which they did not. Going to the recycle center with the rest of the junk mail. Reporting to BBB always a good idea with these time-wasting perpetrators.
- JPGot mine today (Birmingham). Postmarked from Ohio, return phone number 1-866-927-5938. Mine is signed by "Sue Toms"
- JenniferGot the Same letter (Birmingham). Return phone number 1-866-927-5983. It is also signed by "Sue Toms". I did call and spoke with someone that had to put me on hold to answer another call. When he came back, I told him that we had received the letter and he went through the whole spill --Good for two tickets anywhere, all we have to pay is $50 per person, come in to their office and spend 50 minutes listening to their presentation. I told him that we were not interested and he said, "Okay, just pass it on to someone else."
I did not receive a call. - mikegot mine today good old bart stone is vp confirmation number 7199 guess they haven't figured out how to change that, wen to google found associated with vacation network inc found georgia bbb, just a way to get around the no call policy as i have do not call so i know didnot get any calls. np way would i call, so unprofessional,
- Glo in AZYes, I got the same letter and they might have called, there are some numbers on my caller ID that I don't recognize. The only difference was the VP was Sue Toms, and the phone number is 1-866-927-3084. Also I noticed in reading this site that there are a lot of us from AZ. The letter I got was to my P.O. Box now the only place I have that posted is on my Drivers License and two bills, it’s mostly for eBay use. I believe that is open information in this state because I've gotten notices on my car that list the same when people go around placing papers on how you can save on Auto Insurance. Those papers list my name, and address (P.O. Box) as well as when my Auto insurance will expire. I wonder if there is a connection, I’m happy I found this site, I thank all for taking the time to post a comment.
- Kimberly 2Received the same letter as everyone else. Mine was from Bart Stone and the address on the letter is Martinez, GA but the envelope is from Augusta, GA. The phone number on mine is 866.927.6026.
I did some research and found that Colbert & Johnson is actually located in the Dallas area and are part of a larger corporation named CISTERA NETWORKS INC., which is out of Nevada.
This is the address and contact person I found.
Colbert & Johnson LLP, 6021 Morriss Road, Suite 101, Flower Mound, Texas 75028
Robert J. Johnson, Telephone No: (972) 724-3338 ext. 203, Facsimile No: (972)
724-1922. - DanaNo phone calls, but received the same letter as mentioned above. It has to be a scam.
- JLI just got the same letter. Sue toms signed it and the company address is Martinez GA but postmarked Toledo OH. The handwrittten envelope doesn't really do them any favors in the credibility department. The letter said this was their last attempt to contact me; that's just too bad I guess.
