This is Citi Client First - a department of Citibank that works with customers who have products like credit cards, auto loans, and mortgages with Citi. They're trying to get a hold of customers who are behind on their payments to offer payment arrangements, deferrals, and loan modifications.

They helped me get caught up and they were genuine and helpful in these strange economic times.

this is a scam - do not call or respond.
instead call citibank using the telephone # in the back of your credit card.

Citi Client First is not a scam if you call the number on the back of your card and your account is past due it will route you back to Citi Client First. I work in this department.

So then why did I get a call for my father account, even though he has never lived with more nor would have used my number. I haven't had an account with citibank in several years.

My calls come at a minimum three times a day starting at 8AM.  the caller ID says Missouri Call.  I looked up the number and it comes from Rosedale Missouri.  the message (when they leave it says Citi services.)
I am not in arrears on my account. how do I get the calls to stop?

I am also getting calls from this number and looking for someone else and daily 3 times i was getting calls told them to remove and there is no one with that name..every time they give me same [***]..finally i have put a block on my phone for that number.

If this number is not a scam, you would expect them to leave a message.  They have called six times over three days, and never left onw.  Caller ID is 800 Service.  In my experience that caller ID is always a scam caller.

I don’t have a citi bank account but I keep getting calls from here hmmm something fishy to me

Make sure nobody has opened an account with your information. Wayfair, for example, allows instant use once approved for a credit line, bypassing the wait for a card in the mail. Citi issues many cards including store cards, like Wayfair.

This caller is a scam.  They call my phone between 19 to 27 times in a row.  They just called 20 times in a row at 10:39 pm.  No legit company would call your number that many times in a row at that hour at night.

Caller ID says Citibank. Calls many times a day within a minute's time. I've finally blocked the number through my carrier but it still registers on my spam block. Today there were 111 calls within 3 minutes.

No this a scam because I do not have a Citi Bank CC card. This phone number says Exxon Mobile and I do not have their CC card. SCAM!!!

the name that showes up for me is Damecus Nigel Croom, not citi bank. leaves no message, but calls daily. I have not answered, just curious who keeps calling me.

I received a call from 866-613-6857 the caller ID says Citibank. I did not answer. I have never ever had an account with Citibank or it's Branches.

If it’s not a scam, then why do they keep calling without leaving a message?
