Calls my cell phone 4 times a day on average...I wont answer the phone unless I know who it is????

I hate when they call me.  they just wasting my time

Be careful. These people are not debt collectors. This is a gang of scammers. They try to collect all your personal information. They use different phones and different technics. They have already cheated lots of innocent people. They pose as an IRS Agent, Debt collector or Medical equipment seller. Never pay on phone. Confirm with your IRS office or UTILITY or whatever Name they tell. These people will drain your money from your bank account. Do not be afraid. Hang the phone and call police.

Calling trying to get personal info and collect money but when inquired they refuse and hang up.

Called my cell phone and I didn't answer. Immediately called my office phone, so I answered just in case. They asked for me, then said that their call was in regards to a private business matter so they had to verify my identity for security purposes. They asked if I would be able to verify my address or the last 4 of my social security number. I immediately grew suspicious, so I asked what it was in regards to. The caller said it is regarding a "private personal business matter", but that I would have to verify my identity. They asked if this was a good number to reach me so I said no and gave them my parent's house number (I did this since they use that # primarily to give annoying callers a number to call that's not our cell phone).

The thing I'm concerned about is how they got my work number. I have only been at this job for 4 months, and have only given this number to a handful of people.

I had them call my phone. They called my office one day saying it was for a personal business matter. Funny thing I just started this job and the debt they are calling about was way before i started this job.

Call to say I owe money for a payday loan.
