Got a call from Mr. Clayton said There was charges being brought against me and that he need me to call him to get a statement from me before he proceeded with the processes of charging me. Then I got a call from Linda Savino saing I need to call by 3 pm today with my where a bouts so they could server me with papers at home or at work... I did not call back I think its a scam they dont even tell you what this is about!

I got the same message and they referenced a case number? Very odd but I tried calling back and it said the person i'm trying to reach is on the other line.

Did anything come of it?  I got the same call?????

I just got a call from the same phone number, 866-629-0026, and they called me at work!!! The message they left with our agent was:
             "Mr. Joseph Stone called with a law firm in New York and needs you to contact him ASAP. He left a contact number, extension and case number for you. Please see the information below, thank you and have a great day! Phone: 1-866-629-0026 x 478"

What kind of crap is this????

I got callls from this number too... I ignored all their calls. And I got summons to appear in court. I was getting sued... I would advise that you contact their office and get this situated before you have to go to court too!!

I recieved a voicemail stating there was a legal claim pending against me, of course I've never heard of the company, I thougth it was fraud, or just collectors. Inever contacted them back, and i recieved a summons in the mail from Suffolk county, stating i had to appear in court, I could no longer rectify the issue outside of the court and if i would have called, maybe i could have saved all the court fines!!!!!

OH MY GOD ITS FUNNY YOU SAID THAT, THEM SAME PPL CALLED ME FROM 866-629-0026 AND LEFT ME A VOICEMAIL THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN A WEEK LATER I GOT A LETTER FROM THERE OFFICE I WAS SERVED WITH A SUMMONS...I WAS SO UPSET BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD THIS AND NOW I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE CARE OF IT!!

Message on my answering machine from Marcus Johnston at Bronstein Shaw Assoc. specifically asking for me stating that if I don't call them back they will have to send my file, with SEVERAL charges against me in Johnson County, to the Johnson County sherriffs office.  Told me to call back 1-866-629-0026 X488. Called them day after, spoke with Marcus Johnston, claims my name is not on file under that case number, that Paul Hartman's name is related to that case number. Said to disregard the call. I wasn't going to hang up, so I started asking how they got my name and number and he said Paul Hartman referred this number to them. I told him I have no idea who he is and he claimed it was just a wrong number, but he had my first and last name. He stated that we probably have a case within their office and asked for my SS# because he couldn't find it under my name or number. HMMMMMMMM. Sounds like a scam to me. Closed case??? better be.

I received a call today from a Mr. Jones at Bronstein, Shaw and Associates asking for my son.  He said their law firm took over the accounts of United States Bureau of Arbitration and my son needed to call him ASAP.  After thinking about this for a while I realized this was another scam or attempt to extort money.  I called the number back thinking I would get a receptionist but instead Mr. Jones answered the phone.  I asked him for his law firm's mailing address. He appeared hesitant.  I asked him why he didn't know his address and began yelling and swearing at me calling me scum among other names.  He hung up.  I think everyone who gets a call from this organization needs to contact their local law enforcement agency. These people need to be put out of business. This is harassment!

I previously worked for this company - This company is a debt collection agency. When you are called they are giving you a principle balance of what you owe. The thing is the amount they are giving you is most likely either doubled and sometimes even tripled.. And when they say this case is scheduled to be finalized and processed out to your residing county, Yeah thats wrong -- First off it is illegal to even say that. So keep your voicemails saved on the recording and sue the s**t out of them! They are a very illegal company. What they are doing is 100% illegal. I mean its not illegal to collect on a debt but the way they are talking to you is wrong. So if you dont pay this yes you will be in debt but you will not be sued for it.. The main manager of the company (which is Bronstein, Shaw and Associates) name is Joesph Marlette - Who goes by Mr. Joseph Stone. His personal cell phone number is 716-533-1569.. Why not call him and harrass the s**t out of him!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!! SUE THE S**T OUT OF THIS COMPANY!!! The other company that is the owner of this company is ICS!!! GOOD LUCK AGAIN!!! <3

I received the same call today from a Mr. Meyers who stated he was calling from Bronstein, Shaw and Assoc and that I needed to call him back ASAP at 888-701-0360 ext.475.  He left a message stating he was calling about check fraud and that they had filed a case/ charges against me in the county I live in. The funny thing is, I work for the county and there is no case against me. Now that I am reading all this, I really know it's a scam or scare tactic to get someone to pay a debt.  I plan to call them tomorrow to see what info I can get from them. I will also be requesting them to send me paperwork on whatever it is they are calling about.  So we'll see what happens

I have received several calls from several different people saying that there was a charge against me. When I returned the call, the man was gone for the day and the receptionist just read off some random information. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about and that she needed to send me something in the mail (in writing) as to what this is. She got very angry and told me that the time for anything in writing is past and I need to take care of this now or it will go to court. I told her no, that I want all phone calls to cease and they need to send me something in the mail to explain what this is about with all details. She said "we'll see you in court" and hung up.
I don't know if this is for real or not. But I have no idea what the charge is about.

If they are a debt collection agency do they have the right to take you to court? How many have gone to court? Who are they collecting on behalf of if anyone knows?

So I go a call from a MR. JONES today from this same company but a different number.  8778635647 he said he was a lit lawyer representing a company that I owed money to from two years ago, and it's in a different state, so how is my county sueing me?  How did he find my cell number, that company didn't have this number it's new and then he said in my "file" was a check, which he traced my bank account number to.  He even had my ss number.  I had never heard of this "Law firm", I told him I wanted a copy of everything, first he said you'll be receiving a letter in the mail "today", but then asked for my address, mail isn't that fast, then he said within 5 days, later on in the convo 5-10 days, so I had to call him on it.  He was making a lot of other mistakes.

Same call from Arthur Clayton with the (888) 701-0360 x471 telling me I was a defendent in a "series of charges" against me in Riverside County & gave me a case number. I have left a message & am waiting a response & will post more as it develops.
This makes me curious since a few months back my wife was contacted by a "police officer" & wanted personal information but when confronted with questions as for the location & his badge number, supervisor, & even a contact number he became silent & hung up.

Just got a call not even 15 minutes ago for the Brownstein Shaw and Associates company stating that I owed a debt of over 1100 from a loan in 07 for $300.  He stated that i would be filed with defrauding a banking institution along with a felony and a misdemeanor if i couldnt settle this matter now.  I had similar threats from a debt collection agency before and ended up suing them with the attorney generals office in ohio.  When i told him i needed to look them up before getting into any kind of contract on repayment he was quick to hang up the phone.  We'll see how this goes.

Seriously!? I got a call today and the lady said she was going to file criminal charges against me in court if I don't return paperwork to her. She said she was calling from a law firm she called my brother and told him the whole story of the proceedings against me. What the heck is it true???
