I just received a phone call from 866-636-0534 from a woman named Amanda Wrecker(?) with Dynamic Recovery Services asking for <my name>. I could barely understand her. I had to ask her to repeat her name and company. She wanted me to verify my address and last 4 digits of my social security. I said, "You called me, so I'm not verifying anything to you, because you're a stranger. Why don't you tell me why you're calling?" First she said she couldn't tell me anything until I first verify my personal information. I said I wasn't going to. Then she asked me if my address was....<an old address from 10 years ago> and if the last 4 digits of my SS# were....<she had the correct last 4 numbers of my ss#, which is creepy>. I asked her again why she was calling and she said she was trying to collect a debt. I asked, "What debt?" She told me she couldn't talk to me about it until I verify my personal information first. I said I wasn't going to verify anything to a stranger calling on the phone, and she said, "Well I can't help you then and I'm going to end this call now." And she hung up on ME!

They called on my cell phone and told me the same thing they wanted me to verify my mailing address. I hung up on them. I didn't think they could call cell phones?

Someone from this number called me on my cell to speak to my mother.   My mother is 98 and currently in hospice.   I have no knowledge of what she is talking about.  I have power of attorney for my mom.  This individual said they could not speak to me about it unless I send a copy of my power of attorney.  How stupid do they think I am?    I think they were debt collectors but I do not know for sure.

Received a call from 866-636-0534 this morning, and they're not in my contact list.  Did not answer. Reported to the National Do Not Call Registry after reading years worth of scam reports online.  It makes no sense why this caller is permitted to retain their phone number.

I received a call today from Brittney at this number (866-636-0534) She wanted to verify that she was talking to the right person because she had some very important info for me.  I verified my name and address and then she wanted to verify the last 4 digits of my social.  I told her to either tell me what this was about or we hang up now.  She said she had to verify who she was talking to before she could tell me what the call was about.  I hung up.  After looking up the phone number, I see that its a debt collector, however, I have no outstanding debts.

I keep receiving calls from this number. They also use local numbers. They NEVER leave a message! If they are legitimate debt collectors they need to quit looking like a scam!

These people have called me quite a bit because I'm one of those stupid people who verified information and now they have my social. They wanted me to pay a debt that was closed and done with 10 years ago, and the guy talking to me was straight up YELLING. Not kidding, he was freaking me out angrily yelling because I told him I had to get off the phone. Fast forward to 3 months later, he's calling my 80 year old grandparents on the other side of the country at 6 am, waking them up on their loud landline, and trying to aggressively get a hold of me and scaring them.

Somebody can stop this people? They called me one time a day. I am so tired.

They keep calling and don't leave message.  I am beginning to think that people take jobs to be bill collecters out of their home and are given our numbers and they call us to get our bank info to rob us

These guys are Bill Collectors nothing more or less (Scumbags) just dont answer your phone ever to these guys and sooner or later they will stop calling.....

I received a call from this number (866-636-0534) I did not answer. No message left. I noted on my phone that I received calls from same number on Apr 18 and Mar 30. I do not use credit except for my house and car, so I don't owe anyone money. Figured it's a scam. Blocked - love that I can do that for free! Thanks everyone, for using this site to let others know of scams.

Report the scumbags to FTC and to Lemburg law they are trying to get a class action against this number I read on a post they say this number is suppose to be DRS debt collector

This number has called me on Sep 11, 12, 14, and today(15).  They're blocked by my blocker but I can see the log. Most of the time, these type of calls will call 2-3 times and then they change to another number but this one has called 4 times already.

Called and this lady asked for me by name.  I asked why she was calling and she said she had information that she needed to talk to me about a collection.  I let her have it, I told her that any bills that I have within the last 4 years are paid up to date, in full or through next month.  I eluded to 4 years because in the state of NM there is a 4 year statute of limitations for collections.  I told her she could take me to court and that's all I would have to tell the judge and request for proof that I owe them money, they cant provide proof because I never had a contract with them.  She tried to verify my Information and I told her that I am not gonna verify any personal information over the phone and that because she has any personal information on me without my consent, I can report her to my state attorney general along with her phone number, She hung up.  These people think we are stupid with no rights.  Look up your states information regarding collections and think of any accounts you may have forgotten, I haven't forgotten because I am rebuilding my score and I take my bills seriously.

Man called and asked if i was who i was, then stated if my social was 0478 told him that was incorrect.. Said it was under my name..

I get numerous calls and usually no voicemail. But today, voicemail. I listened and all I heard was loud music playing for almost 2 minutes and then the call ended. I blocked this number.

I have no idea who these people are or why they are calling me. Until today. I never knew they existed. And they want sensitive information from me to even tell me who they were. Good luck with that. Refused to tell me what they did.

Yes. Very weird sense they want your sensitive info. But don't want to tell you who they are first. Other than company name. Oh yes let me give my info up then you tell me what your company does. Aha ha ha ha. Right. Dude they are not real in my opinion.

Called back a answeing machine said to wait.  It said it was from Dynamic Recovery

Never answer,  or better yet block the call, these people are either bounty hunters on old debt collections, and are looking to make pennies on the dollar if they collect, really they are about the most sorry form of people, trying to make pennies on the misfortunes of others
