I got the same one. It is a scam, call th bank and the IRS to report it.

I have received several mailings from this company after purchasing my home, then they sent mail with my mortgage company listed. Little do they know, I work for the mortgage company and would never fall for this type of scam. The other mailings were regarding purchasing my deed & mortgage docs. Total scam. I don't need to call the # - it is not my lender.

I got this from a company with my name on it after refinancing my home. The mailing has my mortgage company's name on it

Received mail to call 866-663-7459.  Said they have been trying to contact me.  I called and it asked for a number that I did not have.  Called my mortgage company and found out it was a scam.

I also received a mailing with my lender's name, closing date and the amount! They were posing as my lender and asking me to call regarding a matter of importance as it relates to my mortgage.
My lender would have no trouble reaching me as she is a family friend and has all our information.
I read where this scam originates in a South Pacific Island called Vanuatu.
I'd love to call them and ream them out.

Same thing like everyone else. I am in Orlando. I was going to call just to check it out but decided to google the number they asked me to call. My suspicion was confirmed.

They abbreviated the name of the bank incorrectly, nor does my bank have a department called Mortgage Service Center. Scammers!

Official looking letter with name of mortgage company. Fortunately my daughter works for them and would have no problem reaching me.

Same here...refi and now get a official looking mail claiming they need to speak with me about my mortgage.  I get that it is a scam, but how is this scam getting all our info that our lenders should be safeguarding?

It's Apr 2020 and this scam is still up and running...just got an "official-looking" mail complete with my county of residence, loan amount and lender name. Beware.

Got the same corespondents as the others above, had my name and mortgage company. Called my mortgage company the same day. Total scam, don’t fall for it

My address, not my name.......first clue. Got 2 mailings so far with mortgage amount, not my amount, not date of loan, lender name, not my lender. Only thing that matches is my address. Assuming if you call the number they will try to get personal information.

Got a letter with my county, closing date, bank and mortgage id#. Stated they've been trying to reach me regarding my mortgage. Decided to google the phone first.  Now Im here

This is a sleezy marketing scam as you can read in the other posts. Could be info phishing as well. Ignore this call and block the number.

The sent a mailer claiming to me our Home Equity line holder, claiming we needed to contact them immediately.

Same as above. I got a letter with the pre-perforated edges, the name of my lender, amount and a closing date around the real closing date. "We have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please call 866-663-7459. Thank you, The Mortgage Service Center". Very cryptic, my last name was not accurate. I didn't even call, it totally looked suspicious.

So you received junk mail? Not knowing what junk mail is you then came to a phone number look up site instead of a junk mail look up site? Maybe you should have simply done what almost everyone else does and throw it away without even bothering to read it?
