They called my workplace this morning @ 8:30 while I was working.I didn't answer because I'm not supposed to be on my cellphone while on the clock unless it is an absolute emergency. These people need to stop calling.They are pulling a scam and it needs to be stopped.I don't have any kind of debt at all that is owed.

i have three calls a day from this company, I called back asking them to stop or I will report to the police.
A call center answered after waiting and they just said they had the wrong number

This is a govt hack group ..    have you posted on FB /  Yahoo / Twitter / Huffington Imposter site or YAHOO?   That's why you can't get any answer.. They are trying to find out who you are.

Left message "Focus Collectors attempting to collect debt" 7 p.m. 8 Sept 2016.  Have been receiving numerous such calls for several months from various callers including Regants bank (not the real Regions bank), IRS., etc.  This call motivated me to obtain my free annual credit report. Report provides quick peace of mind. Naturally it reveals no pass due activity or anyone checking credit history accept customary annual checks by Capital One.    When I worked credit it was always paper inquires followed by a  telephone call prior to referring account to collector. Good business sense because collectors charge 30, 40, 50 percent of balance due. Most businesses would prefer to offer a discount of 10 to 20 percent to motivate payment rather than pay a collection agency. Thanks whocallsme and your advertisers that make this service possible.

Focus receivables management is who keeps calling me.  Morning, noon & night for the last 3-4 months (if not more).  It's a recording with a man's voice with a threatening sound to it.  He tells me that it's a debt collector call.  The # on caller i.D. Is different from the # he tells me to call.  He doesn't tell me what company he is calling about to try and collect their money (i don't even have any unpaid debts!).  He just gives "his" company name and an 866 number.  His info. Is:  focus receivables management and # to call:  (866)664-2512 and # on caller i.D.:  (800)268-3486.  I have not picked up any of the calls and don't intend to, but i am going to call the bbb and see if i can get any more info.  I let the answering machine take the calls and every single time it's the same recording with the same info.  Soooo sick of this !!

I received the same message with a different call back number, 800-268-3486 ext 2238. The caller ID was blocked and the caller mumbled the business name so I only know that from reading here. The file number was given but the name of the organization trying to collect the debt was not. I have not applied for a loan for over 10 years so I have no idea how they would get my name and number. Thanks for the information. I will block the number as well.
