calls several times within 5 min every day at 6 PM

calls SEVERAL times within minutes, leaves a blank voicemail that I am unable to play. refuse to call back.

Same thing happening to my phone, dumb guy calls that is it

Called 50 times per day for the last 3 days. Answer and it's just a beeping noise. Blocked the number but just leaves a voicemail with the same beeping noise. Can't call number back.

Try blocking the number. Cost nothing and it might work.

Ya same thingis happening to me. Multiple calls usually after 6pm. Beeping noise. Leaves voicemail when I block and I can't call it back. It seemed to start after I set up a prescription notification service at shoppers. Idk if anyone else recalls recently doing that and this starting?

Called the number. It's a fax signal.  Clearly you and others are receiving it in error.  It's possible that your number was previously associated with a fax line or perhaps, if related, your notification from Shoppers has you listed as a fax.  Try contacting them or stop notifications and see if these fax calls stop.  If so, you'll know it was a problem with Shoppers.  Otherwise it's likely just some SPAM.  Block the number and report it to your carrier as SPAM.  That should at least stop it from ringing through.  You can also file a complaint with the FCC. https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/a ... omplaint-Issues

The past week around six thirty on my home line I receive the calls.  Had to take my phone off the hook for about an hour.

Call back gets a fax signal.  Try sending a fax to the number telling them that they are calling a phone line not a fax line.
