I believe this place may be shady.  I got a call today and the guy said he was from McCloud and Tidwell Law Firm. Said he wanted to arrange payment on a debt before he added legal fees to take it to court.  He told name the name of the original debt holder, and the collection company it was later past to, and the amount if the debt. All the information was accurate, but I did not varify anything and I told him needed him to email a debt letter so I could varify who I was talking to first. Then we'd speak later in the day. He took my email and saud he was sending it.  I have yet to receive it.  I tend to think it is shady though. Any scam artist or scam company could have gotten hold of my a list of my debts, and then try to get me to pay over the phone. If it is a legit law firm then they'd have no problem give you a debt letter and their license number and all that. And most legit law firms collecting debts don't start off the call with threats if litigation.  Beside, this debt was only for $1500 and I had not heard a word about it from anyone for nearly a year, now suddenly some law firm calls ?   I just don't think companies sue over $1500 consumer debts. It's a small claims court issue. Only debts of $5000 or more go to civil court in my state - which is New York.

This is an Obama cell So stop calling it taken away my minutes. Besides if I had money I wouldn't be using a government issued cell Not sure who I owe But you've got my number and so there for you shld have my address if you are legit

I recieved a voice mail from this number ( 2097) and have tried to return the call several times.... when I finally got through and found out what it was I laughed.  a $4 bill left over from lung surgery !!!!   are you KIDDING ME !! collections on $4.. okay whatever.  SO, I told them I just wanted to pay it and be done... it was harder to pay it then it was to just let the 4 bucks sit on my credit !!!!   they acted like they did not want me to pay it, it was all just too much of a hassle !!!!

I was called by a Briannia Jackson looking for a William Johnson, this is about the 5th time these morons have called looking for him. So I called them and told them he does not have this number and to stop calling, she goes I" Oh I am scared" and hung up. So for the next 15 mins I called the number back over and over again, finally about the 20th time calling them she goes please stop calling my place of business. I just laughed at her and stated now you know how it feels to be harassed. These people are to inept to be a real company!

These people keep calling my mom's house and bothering her.  They won't stop no matter what she says.

I already paid these people once for a debt I know was legit - the first time the lady that called me was very nice and all of her info was accurate and the bill I paid through them has been taken off my credit report. So at least SOME of their work is legit. They are now calling me again and I do not have any other debts. This time its a guy and he is very rude and won't give me any information, not even the exact amount I supposedly owe. I am this close to adding this number to my block list. (which is a feature on Android phones.)

He called  and said a legal  matters he asked what is my address  he said  he has street  name.

These people called and asked me to verify my address. I told them i don't do that on the phone. He said he already had my ssn, address, and birthday.  I told him that if he had all that already, why was he asking me to verify it. He got mad and hung up.

Just got called again, I said hello, and I could hear rap music and people laughing in the background, the guy finally gets on the line, and mumbles some name, I ask again who he's calling for, and he responds "I need you to verify your address, And social, before I can explain anything about why my law firm is calling you." I asked again who hes calling for, and he gets rude and says "are you gonna give me your info or not?" I respond no, and he hangs up.

They call me a few times a day Mon - Sat, never leave a message. I answered only twice, both times was instructed to hold, and I did for a few minutes, and then hung up, no one ever answered. May I suggest to EVERYONE to download for FREE Credit Karma. It gives you your credit report, lets you know all open accounts and those that are in collection. My credit score is 779, so this company is blowing smoke up the wrond a** and I have reported that number to the FCC in Florida.

yes this sharis from the law offices of willis and griffeth but when I ask what their law office was again then I said really and she hung up but had me write this number down with extension 185

They called and asked for my partner,  I said he's not here right now, she asked where he is and when will he return.. I said who are you, where are you and when will you return ?  Who would give information over the phone these days.. Not me !
The lady gave me her number and asked to have him call right away... Hell no he won't !

Was called from this number. A Miss Pritchet from cloud and Willis law firm. Said she needed verification on my personal info, which she had (scary) before she could discuss the account any further. I told her I do not give out my info over phone. She said she understood and gave me an account number plus her extension number. I then hung up and Google phone number. Dose this law firm know about these calls?

They called me and mumbles something about a law firm so I asked her to repeat herself and she was running around the question. I asked what it's concerning she said she legally can not tell me till I verify ALL my personal information. I said I wouldn't verify anything til I knew what it was for so she said she'll note a was not cooperative and  hung up. Super rude! They need to be looked into. I don't even owe any money to anyone.

They called looking for a Mike Guy but would not say why.
