Since getting our home telephone connected on 11 August (less than two weeks ago), I have received numerous calls from this number. I either don't answer, or pick up right away and then hang up.

I just received a call from this number. I told her I was on the national do-not-call list and that a new law was in force since September 1st. She replied:  "Don't you want to grant a child his dying wish"? Sensing that I was being manipulated and that there was something fishy about this call I said "no" and hung up. These predators prey on people's feelings. How do you know that this is not a scam to get hold of your credit card number?

I receive repeated calls from this number as well. I live in New Mexico. I answer the phone and there is no one there/no one answering at their end. They have also gotten my cell phone and the same thing happens. I was only able to find out the blocked them by doing *69 when they called my landline. They need to be reported to the BBB and the FTC. I'm on it!
