Got a call from this number.  Someone named Julio asked me to call.  I looked the number up instead and found it is apparently fraudulent.  It appears that this is some illegal service connected with Mt. Carmel St. Anns Hospital in Westerville Ohio which is already under medicare fraud investigation big time!!  Do NOT call this number back!! It is evident this number is fraudulent!

Its not fraudulent it is part of Atlanticare in Atlantic City New Jersey billing department if you owe a hospital or emergency room bill that's what it is . It may service other areas but I know I owe Atlanticare money. They are nice and willing to make payment arrangements. Call before they turn it over to collections

Someone from this number called me and told me they were a representative from Pediatrix Medical Group. Before I could ask what it was about they asked me to provide my birthday and some other personal information that I wasn't comfortable giving out considering I wasn't expecting a call and when someone calls you they shouldn't ask you for identifying information since they should already have it. They told me it was a recorded line and I told them I wasn't comfortable giving out personal information since they're the ones that called me and then the person seemed offended and told me that if I call the phone number back there just going to ask for it anyway. I said that's okay the difference is that I'd be calling them. When I looked up the official Pediatrix Medical Group phone number and called it I was given a message that said all offices are closed because it's a holiday. Don't trust anyone that calls you from this phone number. Whoever called obviously was not working for the company since the company was closed at the time of the call.

The call is from Pediatrix, a group you may not even know a hospital you use contracted with. I thought they were scam artists because I never heard of them, but they did contract work at my child's nicu. The nicu screwed up and all bills were submitted with the wrong name, so insurance rejected the claim. But even after I talked with both ins and Pediatrix, the company kept sending me bills for 10 months, never with itemized info or details - it made them look fraudulent. Call your insurance and make them deal with Pediatrix so you don't have to.

I received a call from this number as a callback to a message I left when I thought I would personally talk to Pediatrix directly (and threaten to call my attorney general and accuse them of harassing parents too stressed to know what was up who might accidentally pay them when they shouldn't!). Tldr: the company is legit but sketchy.

The message on my voicemail said it was Omni Health System and they were calling for my preschool-aged son. I do not owe any medical bills to anyone (and especially not in my son's name) because we don't go to doctor/hospitals often. Not sure how they got my son's name, but it's pretty terrifying to listen to that message. I have not received any letters or information from them via mail, so it smells an awful lot like a scam.

I received a call from this number and they wanted my name, date of birth for "verification".   I usually don't even answer 866 numbers, but I did so this time.    I told them they must have my personal information as they are calling me,  and I will verify if they give me the information.  With that, they said they will mail me the info they have and I hung up.  I think it is a scam as I owe no medical bills or any bills for that matter.

Caller knew I had a baby recently and insisted on “verifying info” like my address and child’s date of birth. I said I wasn’t comfortable doing that and he said he would need my address to mail me info. He said the company was “Pediatrics” and that is all of the info he could give me over the phone.

I just recently had a baby. This number called me said they were with pediatrics. Wouldn’t give specifics on what person they were billing for, wouldn’t give a direct answer as to what company they were billing for. Said they were calling for hospital discharge on the 26th of September. I had my baby on the 26th!!!!!! They started the conversation and said everything that the other comments are stating. I’m so glad I didn’t pay while on the phone like they wanted me to.
They said I have been contacted and billed multiple times (false) and this was the final call. They said they just sent out another bill in the mail two days ago. They wouldn’t state where they were located so I could track how long it would take. It took them a  while to answer any questions because I was questioning everything. I told this lady I don’t pay for medical things with out my husbands knowledge. So I wouldn’t pay until I received a bill and the mail. They seemed off put by my unwillingness to pay then. Scam scam scam!!!!! DO NOT TRUST!!!!

I work in phone sales so when they refused to tell me what this call was about before obtaining my personal inform I knew that wasn’t how it works. I asked for a website to verify the validity of this company and she gave me the following https://personapay.com/pediatrixmedicalgroup which I have never seen or heard of before. she kept saying this is about a pediatric related services. I said I don’t have a kid and im too old for a pediatric she had the wrong number. But she knew my name and said she couldn’t verify anything else until I gave her my dob and address. I said im not giving you that if you won’t tell me if you’re a debt collector or is this about an upcoming appointment? WHO ARE YOU! she pushed for info but for the slight chance this was legit I gave her my zip code and she said yes that’s what we have too but come to think of it, she could’ve said yes to anything I said. I think it’s a scam.

Yes, that is how it works and phone sales have nothing to do with debt collection calls. I guess if the best job you could get was telemarketing then that would explain your lack of knowledge. By doing about 2 seconds of research I found out that website has been up for 3 years and that the company is located in Florida and services a very large area supplying doctors, etc.
