l have had several msgs. left on my cell from 877-503-2115  tonight they said it was urgent to return call.  sounds fishy to me   after reading comments l don't plan to answer them.  a recording said it was Icor Canada.

They've called almost every day for the past month.  I finally picked up the phone this morning but no one was on the other end.  I didn't hang up and, guess what, their system is too stupid to hang up for them.  So far, my "conversation" has been going on for more than 4 hours.  If enough of us DON'T HANG UP, maybe we'll screw up their system.

Multiple calls from 866-801-1526 a man with an East Indian voice keeps asking for someone who doesn't live here, always the same name. When asked who he represents he says he is calling on behalf of the city or on behalf of someone else, the story always changes. Has been calling many times over a long period of time and I told him not to call anymore but he continues to call anyway.

These people call to say we owe on utilities but won't say who.  This is a scam and they call repeatedly.  I want to stop them calling

they collect money on behalf of other companies, they are legit, chances are you either owe money or a company you did business with before THINKS you still owe money too. The called me about an unpaid fine, I called the court house and they HAD hired them to collect the fine..... until I took a copy of the fine receipt to the court house.

You have to remember they are just the middle man for a company, and that people with the unpaid debts always say they don't owe it too.  If it actually IS a mistake, call the cops who will give you the number for the division who deals with it (I called once, and the calls stopped immeadiatly after).

If they call you after you say they have the wrong person, file a complaint and then let them know you intend to file a small claims court suit against them for more money than they claim you own, for harrassment.   Worked for me with a couple different places

The number 866-801-1526 has called me about 15 times a day for about two months
starting at 7:30am. One hour ago I called them asking to speak to a manager because I was returning their call  and they asked for my phone number. I refused to give them my number and they hung up on me. I called them back five more times and someone finally talked to me and I told them I wouldn't give them my number because I saw them on a scam list on line they told me I was lying. LOL!!!!!  I called them a total of 32 times this morning (see if they like it - which they didn't) One told me they were Bell, one told me they were Icor and it was none of my business and so. Finally the 32 call I talked to a very polite girl and she told me my number would be removed in 48 hours.
I hope that is true or I will have to start calling the miserable idiots again. 866-801-1526

This number has phoned me three times all at 7:20 in the morning on three consecutive working days...I've phoned them back several times and asked what their purpose of their business.  Out of the 6 times I've phoned them back they all refuse to tell me what their business is until I give them my phone number.  I respond by telling them I will not give them my phone number until they tell me what their business is.  I tell them they already have my phone number cause they phoned me.  They refuse to tell me anything about what they do.  5 out of the 6 times I phoned, had foreign accents. One response was "we are a risk managment company" (I responded by saying I have no risk what do you want and she passed me off to an answering machine)
 Anyone who reads this my only advise is refuse to give out any personal information to anyone on the phone unless they tell you what the nature of their call is.  It is our right to know!!

Not true!! I've had debt collectors after me before (over ten years now)   And I've never had to give out personal information with out knowing what, who and how much I owed.  If this company is ligit why would they ask for your phone number and not your name?  
I too am getting these calls and believe they are a scam!!
And I frequently look at my credit bureau with equifax and have a clean bill of credit...all creditors show a 0

Got many calls from this number.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past month or so, about five or six times a day, even on weekends and evenings.  When the answering machine picks up, they don't leave a message.  I finally answered this morning and got a recorded message saying it was from Icore Canada and it was urgent that I call them.  Not gonna happen as my credit rating has been checked and is good so don't know what they want.  I am pretty sure it is a scam and might have to change my number to an unlisted one.

This is a scam, phone the police and report them

canada law says collections are not allowed to continue calling after you tell them not to.Tell them to sue you in writing.Give no information.If they are so called legit, they would already know.This is another loop hole in the financial system where as they collect your debt, dont declare it, keep the money and go under a new name.Credit collectors have no power as they work for the client.So again tell them to sue you in writing.Any calls after that is criminal harrasement.They will tell you anything cause thats how they get paid, stretching truths and your rights.I never didnt pay anyone that honored thier contract.The scammers lost out when I caught onto them.So again, know your rights, google it.

I have been called by these guys a lot. Usually around Noon.  Automated message tells you to call them back - it's important.

After ignoring the calls for weeks and weeks - I called it back.  I asked them who they were and they said "IQOR" I asked them what they did and they said "Collection Agency".

They asked for my phone number.  I gave it to them and they asked if I was "my name" I said - "No My Name is Tyler Durden".

They apologized and said that they would remove me from their lists.. She asked several times if I was sure I wasn't "My Name" and I said - "No I'm Tyler Durden. Never heard of the other guy".  She took a while and said that she was removing my number from about 5 lists and that the calls should stop after 48 hours.

I'll check back in & let you know if they stop..

yup, I get calls from this number...its an automated voice message; something about its URGENT that I call them back. Sorry, but I don't owe anyone any money, nor do I accept money/prizes via my cell phone. Its a scam. They call once a day.

Get on average of 5 calls a week from this number.....

I was receiving an automated call every day for weeks. They were calling our fax number which was new to us. It must have been a "recycled number". I called them and asked them to remove my number from their system and the guy did just that. He spoke perfect English and did not ask me any personal questions. I didn't volunteer any info either. Let's see if the calls stop.

I have received several calls a day for the last 2 weeks from the above noted number.  I want them stopped now.  This is my phone for my own personal use not for soliciting and annoying me.

These guys are 3rd party weasels that are contracted by parking lot companies etc to harass you about your unpaid tickets, so their ploy is to annoy you so much that you eventually pay the fine, and they get a cut (as do the guys that man the phones in India I would imagine).   But it's plain harassment, hope someone takes them to court.

These days I check my call display and if it's from a 1-800, 1-866, 1-888 etc., I simply don't answer.  They're all just annoying calls from credit card companies trying to get you to take out a loan or payment insurance, surveys, polls etc.  

F&^$@ them, just don't answer!

1-866-801-1526  calls once each and every business day  leaving a message basically that says, call this number and given a  file number each day that is different to ask for as it is important!
