These guys call me regularly, every other day or so, asking for "Robert."  Then, they ask if there are any veterans in the household.  They're simply selling something, which I don't want.  I'm tired of hanging up on them.  I will find out who owns that number and file a complaint with the Dept of Veterans Affairs.

Has called my number repeatedly. I went onto their website: http://www.mortgageinvestors.com/  I had to go to a live chat to speak with someone. I explained to her that I had just received a new cell phone number and they kept calling me and I asked her to remove my number from their list. She asked me if I was a  Vet and if anyone had tried to explain their program to me. I told her that I was a disabled Vet but was not interested. She immediately began to explain their program so I closed the chat box. If I receive another call, I will report them to the FCC.

They call 5 times a night never any message

I got the same offer, after they came to talk to me I seen on the paperwork that its fixed for three years then becomes adjustable rate up to 8.0! I told them no, and to remove me from list but they still call.

This is Mortgage Investor Corp. Their CEO is Bill Edwards, a veteran who says he wants to help other veterans. ( That was not his name in the Marine Corp, he had it changes )  He personally writes these scripts for  the bone heads  that  call you.

They harass  you, if you are reading this, you know.  So  What  can you do ????

It may seem rude, but perhaps we  could  all call the  companies that he is on the board of
directors ( and  he contributes huge sums  to, so they will know his name)--
and ask them to  help reign in  his  rude  and  harassing ways ?

If  you call them, do what they do to you----call  six times a day  and  ask for  Bill Edwards.

He  also owns  seceral businesses, but  they  will not care--he owns them.

But  these charities  have  a public  image  and  they  may care if enough people call---
or  even  call and  ask  thier  CEO  to  ask Bill to stop.

They keep calling me and telling me that if I voted for Romney , I'm a n1gger hater

This number calls me about twice a day and even on the weekends. I explained to them that my husband killed his self not to long ago and everytime they call and ask for him it remindes me of this experiance myself and my children have to go through. They give me their condolences and say they are taking me off the list but continue to call. One lady told me just to ignore the phone calls but if I don't answer the phone it leaves a dial tone on my answering machine. We should not have to put up with this kind of harassment haven't we been through enough.

I am pretty irritated with this company. Every time they call, they never say anything and just hang up. When I call back the number is either not in service or they answer and then hang up when I start complaining. They say they are trying to help vets get help with their home mortgage or something and that a veteran in my house had requested more information. No one in my house has ever served in the military. When I told the operator that when I finally got through, they said well someone in your house did and I would have to speak to that person personally in order to place you on any "do not call" list. What kind of BS is that??? And when I asked for the manager the last 4-5 times, they've hung up on me. The calls need to stop now or I will be filing harassment charges with this company.

They call my cell every hour 5-6 times a day. The number belongs to Mortgage Investors Corp. I've told them that I do not wish to do business with them and told them on 3 separate dates to stop calling me since I am on the do not call list. I keep receiving calls and I've filed a formal complaint with the National Do Not Call registry. We'll see if that works. This # has been calling 3-4 times a day and after reading all that everyone says I have no idea why they call me. I have no mortgage with anyone so???? I just never answer and won't

Calls my number morning, evening and night sometimes late. No message is left. Hoping they get the message and top calling. No interest in any sales, refi or anything.

I kept getting these calls too. They'd call me every hour, 5-6 times a day. They company is Mortgage Investors Coporation and they're based in St Petersburg, FL. They do not care if you're on the do not call list, nor will they listen to you when you tell them to stop calling you, but here is how I got them to stop calling me - at least for now. Everytime they called me after I informed them to stop and that my number was on the do not call list, I filed formal complaints with my state's (I'm in MO) do not call list, the FTC (national do not call list), and the Florida Attorney General's office.  It got so bad that I was - and still am - considering hiring my own attorney to take legal action. I've even filed complaints with the St Petersburg Police Dept, but they will only accept your compaint if you're a resident of St Petersburg. Non-residents they will reject your compaint and tell you to call your local police dept. However, they did give me a name of someone who is working to remove complainant's names from MIC's data base. That person is Mr. Wes Bailey, (727) 347-1930, and he works in the legal department at Mortgage Investors. I've also informed them that one more phone call from them will constitute a law suit from me.

This company has been calling me for the last 6 months.  It has escallated for the last 2 months.  They call at least 3 times a day.  I have asked them several time to remove me from their list and to not call me.  I've told them repeatedly to not waste my time and theirs.  They said they would remove me from their list, but it takes 72 hours.  In the meantime, I keep getting the standard 3 calls per day.  Earlier in the week, into the 2nd 72 hours this week... :/ The person 'explained' to me that if I answered the phone, or if my voicemail picks up, it will automatically re ad me to the list.  Is there nothing I can do to get rid of this ridiculous situation?  I've tried screaming into the phone, an air horn and answering the phone and putting it on the counter while they talked and left it there for at least a couple of hours. When I put it back on the hook, They called back 30 minutes later.

I was getting at least 2 calls from this number daily. I didn't answer or would just connect and then immediately disconnect.  I bought a whistle just for these people.  Can't wait to blow their eardrums out the next time they call.

Getting calls from 8668126662 twice a day.  Please have them stop.  I checked on web and others say it is a VA mortgage company.

Caller i.d. indicates, unknown caller; I usuall don't answer, but after receiving so many calls through out the day, i answered this morning.  The caller did not identify themselves, asked for someone that was not at this number, then asked if there were any military veterans in the household.   I said "No" and please do not call here again and hung up.
