Funny... Chris Smith, Adam Hall, Greg Williams all call and coincidentally have the same voice! Wow.

Got a call from a Capital.  They were deceptive, dishonest and unprofessional.  But, the main problem was...they had the wrong people and didn't even care.

If enough people get together these people, and others like them, can be cured.

Twice I have gotten an automated  call from Greg Williams the number wathe gave me to call back was to fast to catch  the last call I got said it was from 1-804-234-9050 and this was differert than the one  that they left.  Thank you for this information. I  dialed  the last call and talked to some someone (not Williams) from "lost asset recovery" who told me I had a bill for 30 dollars from a hospital I had never been to. What is scary is they did have the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told them that I had never been to that hospital  and I refused to give them my social security number then they hung up on me. I have tried talking to the hospital but since I refuse to talk to a recording I have had no luck .

I have been doing some online checking and apparently Capital and  another  debt agency are all owned by the same parent company and they use diffent phone numbers I  will just paste in what i sent to another forum.
"I got an automated call from them (from a Greg Williams)the number listed on the last call received feature was different from the one they rattled off so quickly (1-912-7272.) I didn't catch it I had to research and get it from your site I called and  was told that I owed money to a hospital  to the best of my knowledge I never had been to that hospital. When I told them this and refused to confirm my social security number, I was hung up on. I tried the hospital and could not get a human. After getting the other phone number from your website I called again and was told it was a 10 year old bill for a very low amount. I told the rude young woman  that I thought her company  had engaged in fraudulent practices (Google Greg Williams and debt.) After some arguing I hung up on her. I finally got in touch with the hospital and was told that I owed this to the debt agency (who had apparently bought an old debt.) I had honestly forgotten I had ever been to that hospital. I probably had gone there out patient for a test. I also never received any bill. The low amount was a leftover after insurance payment. As far as I  can determine  there is a statute of limitations and I  am beyond that. So I do not think I will pay. Apparently this debt collection agency uses other names and phone numbers, although I am not sure. "

I just got a phone call from 972 853 7428 located in Nevada, TX, telling me to call back. No further info. The # they want me to call back is 866 854-5359. I have no idea why these people are calling, have gotten no letters in the mail or notices otherwise, and refuse to call them back and confirm my phone number to them. This is the second such call I've gotten. The first was from phone # 323 482-1695 in Montebello, CA, from a "Stacy Edwards". Same type of call, just a vm from an unknown person asking that I return the call. I am considering writing the "Cease & Desist" Letter as advised earlier in this thread. Otherwise these guys come off as super suspicious, and I will never call them back or answer any unknown #'s.

I received 3 messages from Capital Accounts asking me to call them back.  I'm guessing that they are trying to collect on invalid debt.  Call back to 866 854 5359.

Got a call from 330-286-0208 they said the message was for my sister.  I called 866-854-5359, the call back number they left, to ask them to cease and decist from calling my cell phone number that it was not the number of the person they are looking for. He asked me for my sisters phone number.  I told him it was unlisted.  He said :are you refusing to give me her number.  I said I cannot give it to you it is unlisted and she could sue me and I asked for his name.  He refused to give his name and once again asked for her number.  He is such a jerk-I am going to persue charges against him to stop this from happening to anyone else.

I got a call from these people today, one on my cell phone and one on my work number all at the same time. Both were from different area codes. Don't recall the first one, but the one on my cell said 770, a Georgia area code. I called the 866-854-5359 they left on my cell phone voicemail, but called it  from my work phone just in case. But I only got some weird recording of music, so I hung up. I called the number that called my cell from my work phone and someone asked me to verify my name, I asked them to verify their phone number and then I pretended I got the wrong number. Shady and I assume they will be calling me over and over like the other people that have posted here. I don't have any outstanding debts other than credit cards which get paid on time every month. Suspicious.

They send me a letter on 03/09/2010 and bother me that I owed them money.( The letter said that I need to call to Adam Hall). That I never know who this company and did not owe them anything.  I do not know how they had my personal information also. They are scam !!

You really need to take care of these people. From what I hear they are telling people that they have the police coming to their house and they would be arrested. This is wrong. I'm sure if you guys checked the debts are too old anyway.

Keep getting calls from this number. Claim to be a collections agency called "Capital Accounts", stating I have a debt for a doctor in the USA.

I have never visited the USA before.

BIG SCAM !!!!!
