i keep getting calls. . i was scared, but since you all say its lowes. . i have wallpaper on order from them! haha, i guess ill go get it.

Lowe's Automated Special Order Arrival Notification

Be nice if they'd leave a message. It's kinda like why I have voicemail.

I ordered some wood flooring from Lowe's earlier this week that is suppose to take 3 weeks to arrive.  Just missed a call from this number and am assuming it was a dumb experience survey or something since my order is still supposed to be several weeks from arrival.

Most automated systems can leave voicemails, wish this one would. I guess I'll call the store and bother someone to check the status of my order.

Lowe's:  Text messaging is now available on Cell Phones.  Make a text message as one of the choices on the special order form, and simply send a standardized note that says "Your special order is ready" and all this confusion goes away.

Or, do whatever you like.

Keeps calling but doesn't leave message or identify themselves.

I received 7 calls from this number between 1 and 7 pm yesterday, but no message.  I do have a couple of items on order from Lowe's, so finding this web page was helpful.

Yes its likely Lowes, but its lame because they dont leave a messge, so we have to go through all of this to find out who keeps calling us.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number.  Didn't recognize, so didn't pick up.  They left a voice message which started with a BURP, so I'm pretty sure it isn't Lowe's!!

I called this number back and it was Lowe's to inform me that my special order has arrived at my local store.

Actually, it is Lowe's.  We've had a couple of special orders this Spring and they have an automated number to let you know the order is in and/or to make delivery arrangements.

Lowes has an automated system in place for special orders linked to this number.  When an Item is scanned into the store from a truck, it automatically triggers the automated system to call.  The problem with cell phones is that when your greeting message starts, the system thinks you have picked up to say hello? It immediately starts the recording letting you know an order has arrived.  By the time your voicemail goes to the beep to record, the system has already read the recording and hung up.  Thus leaving you with no message

Why can't Lowes solve a problem.  If they know the auto system has problems FIX IT.  They could not fly the fleet of private jets for 2 days and pay for the fix.  Maybe customers are not a priority.  If you needed an exit ramp on I-77 or great landscape for the corp office Lowes has the fix for that.  Customers keep Lowes from being a great place to work.

LOWES get a new auto call system or better hire some people instead of the constant lay offs.

If I get a call from Anybody and if you are not in my Phone book you better leave a message or I ain't gonna answer the phone. It will make me go change my Phone number
I do not like anybody calling me that I do not know. I do not give my phone number out to many people

why don't cell phones give you the option to block phone numbers..........

that's what I'm thinking. a voice said my special order had arrived and I could pick it up at their Mount Vernon location. Problem w/ that...or problems...1:I live about 50 mikes away from Mount Vernon  and 2 : I never ordered anything from them !

It IS Lowe's.  When I placed the special order, the Lowe's associate stated that an automated system will contact me.  He said that if I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  He said that he receives a message that I didn't pick up the call and that he'll call me.
