this is canada revenue agency regarding student loans. If you have a student loan, than that is what it is about.

It is not about Students Loans! Do not give your information over the phone. I recieved a call, they left a msg to call back this number but I do not have a student loan but not only that I do not have my first name advertised in any phone listed, just an initial. They try to make it seem like they were just saying a named that started with R and just murmured it but my last name is pronounced perfectly and so if the rest of the msg.

This is a legitimate number unfortunately.  If you call them back you'll get the CCRA's collection department.  They don't only deal with collections for student loans though, I believe, but also for outstanding tax debts or any other monies owed to the Federal Government.  So if you're behind on your taxes get them in quick 'cause they're very persistent and won't let up until they get a hold of you!

Canada Revenue - payment arrrangements.

I received a call from this number regarding student loan and he would not give his name and said it was about student loan. I never miss a payment so wondered why they would be calling.

Total scam. They asked for a lot of personal information- banking info, credit cards, social, driver's license. COMPLETE SCAM! Do NOT give them anything!!!
