Ok! Folks - I have the answer!! Call your phone company and put a "block" on the number. My company allows up to 5 numbers, at no charge. Good for 90 days. If you can't get by the menu, keep hitting "0" a few times - then you will get customer service.

What phone company do you have?  Mine charges $4.99 a month for the feature that blocks phone numbers

They keep calling me and then hang up. When I try calling back it says something like this phone is disconnected or out of service. SUPER ANNOYING

I also get these calls everyday atleast 2 to 4 calls. It is so frustrating! Does anyone know how to get it to stop!

I think that's how they get numbers.  I think that fake recording is on their end. it's not the telephone company.

I got two calls from this number, I finally answered. It is from something called Specialty Travel. They told me I had arranged travel with them two years ago. This is not true. I do not know how they got my number. Sounds Jamaican ?

Call almost every day, sometimes more than once a day, all times day and night, really, really, really annoying!

Calls and when I answer they hang up... If I try to return the call they say the number is invalid

(866) 898-2355 ...... Same as other people reporting.  Male caller asked for my wife, when I asked who was calling, he hung up; tried calling back, but received recording it is not a valid number.

If you have U-Verse you can go online and block them at no cost; but usuallu these scammers have several numbers in their calling bank so you may get them back from another number.
