Received call from 866-907-1001 claiming to be the BBB.org  After contacting the real BBB.org they said never do they cold call businesses to recruit membership.

Just wanted to post that they are still using this scam approach. It irritates me when they call a cell that's used for emergencies and leave telemarketing messages. I am still wondering how they got this number!

I also got a call from that number and they asked to call Mitch Roberts.  What a scam.  I'm glad that everyone else wrote about it.

Googled this number after receiving a call from a lady with the BBB. She was polite enough while she was on the line and mentioned she was from the "good department" to head off any worry about the message.
Part of my job is to screen calls to keep telemarketers from eating up the day. If Boss wants your services he'll call you, there's no need to call us first. Glad I googled the number. This is one message that won't make it to Boss' desk.
