They keep calling saying I owe something. Look like someone have gave them the wrong number

Getting called at least once a week from this number...this time they left a message stating not to ignore the call and they were trying to collect debt. I've only had this cell number for a little over a month and haven't given it out to anyone other than family and co-workers. I called the number from my work phone and only got an answering service.

This number keeps calling me - twice today, with the debt collection line - always for someone I never heard of.  I called the number given to call once and got no answer but left a recording to remove my number from their call list.  Obviously, that message was ignored and I should never have called that number.  I keep waiting for some shoe to drop over this.

Multiple calls. They never leave a message. I have a strong policy of not answering numbers that I do not know. For giggles sake. I called back today. It's some collection agency. It's nothing that I did. It's Attached to someone who had the number before me. The guy was a [***]

Scam.  Anyone with any common sense knows you can't properly file a lawsuit or claim or have a file number without properly serving said party.  Furthermore, process servers don't warn you ahead of time.  Think about it, sheep!  If they warned you, don't you think it would be that much simpler to avoid them and dodge service of legal process?

These nuckleheads aren't legit and no, you're not going to jail unless you went back in time to freaking Victorian era England, circa 1850!!

several voice mails from this number - female voice saying regarding a legal matter and I needed to call back immediately with legal counsel.  suggest i do not ignore this. from a debt collector.

they call all the time looking for James Young, his debt is seriously delinquent. God I wish they all would die.

What law are you referring to? Can you provide a reference?

This number constantly calls my elderly landlords looking for me.  Refusing to leave a business name or why they are calling. Over the last two weeks, call 3-4 days per week, over 20 times per day.  My landlords do not give out my number or information. This is harassment and a scam.  I called them back once my landlord gave me their number. They refused to tell me what creditor they were with, name of business or name of who I was talking to but began the threaten scam, "Lady, you are in serious trouble! If you don't pay up, a supeana will show up at your work place, embarrass you infront of you boss and coworkers, with a demand to show up in court." I don't own this money. He spoke very fast and with an accent so it was difficult to understand and tried putting hard sales/pressure on me. I demanded to know who was supeaning me, he refused to tell me. I asked to spreak to his supervisor, who he said was on another call. I said I would wait. He refused. I said firmly, "This is a scam, do not ever call my landlords number again (and I listed the number) or me (and left out my number just in case the caller ID block didn't work when I called)!"  More proof this is a scam.  I repeated again, "DO NOT EVER CALL THIS NUMBER AND MY LANDLORDS AT XXXX, I am ready to call the FBI and the FTC."  And hung up.  That was last night, so far no calls today.  Hard sell sneaky harrassing scam!

I am receiving the same message, I recently became a victim of identity theft. I have no outstanding debts, so this is definitely a scam!!
