this is a scam

Called me 5 times today. Left message about missing information on my loan application, which I don't have. This is a real scam.

I have received six calls from this number already today and it is only 10:00 AM  Woman identifies herself as being from Loan Depot - says she needs a couple of pieces of information to complete my loan application.  I haven't applied for any loans so I am not answering or returning the call but how can I block them???

They initially called my cell phone which I do not give out . She never told me who she was and the call originally came from area code 207!!  Turns out they are Loan Depot and after persistent calls  to me they left this 866 number

Agree - ridiculous calls - how do they obtain cell numbers and authorities calls to work numbers?  Where is the FCC here?

They left me a message saying they need more information to complete my mortgage application. The call was from loan depot. I am not looking for a mortgage.

Don't get a simple call blocker, get back at them legally via the Telephone Consumer Protection (TCPA) act and get statutory damages of up to $1500/violation (some calls have multiple violations and can be at $3K/call or more). This is not a joke, this is not a scam, this is real. Only way to stop these fools is to hit them in their pockets with the full weight of the Federal government behind you, and depending on your state, the local governments, too (TCPA 47 U.S.C 227 and 47 CFR 64.1200 - go look them up).

Claims to be savannah from loan depot but the caller ID # was local to my area code, while the "wish to be removed" #was 866 975 9011

I having been receiving several calls a day for the last 2 wks from this number which caller ID says Loan depot. Left only 1 message after the 10th or 11th call saying "this is Savannah calling from Loan Depot.Sorry we missed you. if you are no longer interested press # to opt out. We are here to help if you need to secure a mortgage, refinance or answer any questions about loan" I have never contacted anyone about a loan and don't know where they got my number. I did not call back
