Someone from this number has called myself and my family regarding a supposed civil lawsuit.  It's a scam.

Got a call from a local number that my phone labeled as spam so I let it go to VM. The message was left by a man saying he was from Adler and Associates regarding a matter he only mumbled about but I did catch my county name in there amidst the mumble. Left this number and a case file saying if I don't respond today they "will be forced to move forward." I'm not a lawyer but I do know lawyers don't speak this vaguely nor do they begin a suit with a phone call so I'm certain this is a scam.

I got similar message from a local number too. She didnt mention a company but mumbles the reasons  for the complaint. Also  left a file number and knew my address. Very shady so I will not be calling the 866 number she left.

Received scam from these people and wanted to warn- if you call this number back you may be connected to someone going by "Langston Carter". They are not legitimate. "Langston Carter" will try to sweet talk you and, if you speak calmly to him, he will even say "I appreciate your calm manner, I usually get called a scammer and yelled at when really, people owe debts." They do, but not to you you scammer.
