I am a Koodo's customer as well.

Seriously just got off the phone now, exact same thing, everything seemed to check out and she seemed legit and very nice and then boom asks me for a credit check to verify that i can pay for the plan and needs either my social insurance number or my drivers liceencce number or my credit card, ha if they were real koodo theyd have all my account info already so [***] that

You must go to the store if you do not feel secure over the phone, that's better because you will see who is taking your info, by the way they must gather your info if you agree.

I get call s from 866-995-6636 but do not answer. Who is this party?

Found a missed call from this number from 8:35. No voicemail. My Provider is koodo, so that's a possibility.

There was a man speaking with strange accent, probably Indian or Punjabi. He presented himself as a Koodoo promoter. Somehow he knew my name and base plan details. So I got a kind of "great offer" for mobile data (I haven't used it for a long time and used WI-FI connections instead to reduce my bill therefore obviously he knew even this detail).
I replied I got no intention to increase my bill and wished him a nice day, then hung up.
Suspicious. Stay alert and don't provide any personal information.
This could be a scam hacker.

Keeps getting calls from this number

my account was suspended due to a scam claiming they're from komodo

Calls me about once a week, won't answer, if they would only leave a message.

They called me and I don't know who they are and I think they smell.

Most mobile companies outsource their customer service to other countries. It would be no suprise that the caller is foreign.

Why r they calling my cell and hanging up when I say hello

Some guy claiming to be Koodo calling about my account. It is clearly a lie, since they should be calling my koodo number.

I called this number asking for help about a bill and they said they needed my drivers license.. over the phone.. seems odd if you ask me
