I was sending a text message, so of course I didn't accept the UNKNOWN phone call!

That's whyen  there's caller ID! When someone is calling my Mom and Tom's home, but don't answer the phone if they don't recognize the caller.

Got a call from them, they asked for a name I've never used on anything that could be a debt (asked for Danielle, I only use Daniel when it's important (MtF trans)), and told me to "hold for my representative." I stopped listening to the nice hold music when time to go to work came.

Debt collector, super nasty. Threatened me with "I know how to find you, i have your birthday, your social, everything" then proceeded to give me an address that I had never lived at. I don't owe anyone anything as I pay my bills.

They keep on threatening me

They are extremely rude.. Lady called looking for a relative of mine I asked what tt was in regards to she said you are not the person I need to talk to I said then remove my number.. Well this is the number we got.. I don't care this is my # and remove it!

Its a scam

March 13, 2017, I received a call from 866-999-6445.  They asked me if my name was_______. I said who wants to know.  He said just a minute and I will transfer you.  A woman came on the line asking my name.  I asked who is calling and they told me Aargon Collection Agency.  Then they want to verify me by asking my date of birth.  Asked last four digits of social security number.  I then said I would give no information until I know what if any bill is overdue.  They said they cannot continue and then hung up the phone.  I have nothing in my. credit showing past due and pay my bills in full monthly.  I buy new cars, a 2016 BMW 535 and a 2015 Nissan Altima with Cash. DO NOT give your personal information: Address, birthdate, social security number, to anyone over the phone.

They say I owe I debt to something I paid off a long time ago and have the documentation proving I paid it.

California--- called saying they were debt collector wanted my birthday and area code told him I don't hand that out over the phone to someone I don't know he got belligerent and said I was being uncooperative and said that's how we was going to report me and hung up. Tried calling back to talk to a supervisor and their phone number was unlisted,  a number I just called. Total scam beware.

FCRA rules and guidelines state that unless you are engaged in contract with YOUR signature with any company then any debt collecting attempt is operating outside the law. Request a document engaging your signature with this company and to be sent to you. If not provided report them to BBB and CFPB.

These people think they are slick and everyone else is dumb.  They called me and said they knew my name. even though I don't know them or their number. " collection agency."  I am a free citizen of a free country,  I don't play with people and I don't let people play with me.  enough said

This is a scam operation -- avoid!
