What part of "no" don't these imbeciles understand? I'm not interested in their scam. I've been telling the little [***] that for three years now and they still call. Three times today!

I received a phone call from 877-207-1679 # 77207 / Melissa Adams claiming they wanted to take my new educational book to world wide access. Do these people think we are all dimwits?

I'm going to call Book World Stores and report this ...

No professional marketing organization calls authors with contracts (Balboa and Hay House) with large book publishers, pretending to want the rights and to sell internationally for a fee without sitting down with an agent / attorney / new contract. Geez - dumbells. Hope no-one is fall for this scam.

She started asking someone who has been in Oprah Mag -- and written numerous books and publications if I wanted to be on TV and Radio - DUH?

Got a call from Melissa first and then 3-4 more calls from Marco Morales about my new book "From Chap to Champion". Yeah he gave me a few options, Book Fairs and Regional Library meets that i checked out and found to be true. My issue was they never mentioned what their benefit was and how they keep digging up numbers.

Interesting. I have just experienced the same thing! Cold call, knew my book title and my home phone number. Have called me a couple times even though I did not call them back. Phoned this morning to tell them not to bother me and I couldn't get anyone live...just a voicemail. Thanks for sharing your information!

Have only received one call from a Jen Daniels...I think. (Her accent was so strong I had to listen to the message several times to get that.) Ext was 332. She said she was from Book Whirl publishing and asked me to call her back. I googled the number and this site came up. Thanks to this site, I will not be returning the call.

Yep got a message from 877-207-1679 ext. 332 or 362....company called Bookwhirl.com...looked up number and it's associated with a website which is about helping authors self-publish...so they have something for sale...darn and I thought at first a publishing house was interested in my book.

Interested in my book. I researched and it is not going to return the call. It appears to be a phone scam.

They're still at it. Got a phone message about a book I published years ago. My phone number is not shown on any of my literary sites nor in any of my books. Couldn't clearly understand her either. Glad I checked this site.
