Received several calls from this number.  No one was ever on the line.   Called it back and got Virgin Mobile's collections department.  Alisha answered and told me one of their customers must have given them my number as a contact number.  They were trying to contact that customer and so they were phoning me.  
   "Fine", I said,  "Now that you know I'm not your customer, would you please stop calling me?"
   "Sorry", she said,  "Your number's in our computer and we have no way of finding it unless you tell us the customer's name."  I didn't know the customer's name.  We were at an impasse.  She suggested she  transfer me to customer service.  
   The Customer Service person told me the same thing.  "You'll have to wait until we phone you again" he said, "then we'll have the customer's name available."
   "Will you be able to fix it then?" I asked him.  
   "I have no idea" he said,  "I've never worked in collections."
   "Well would you transfer me to collections then, so I can find out?"
   "There's no point" he said, "not without the customer's name."
   Finally he agreed to put me through.  By the luck of the draw I finally got someone helpful.  I explained my trouble.  
   "No problem" he said, "I've looked up you're phone number and found the customer's name.  I'll fix it right away."  
   And he did.

I get calls as well and when i answer no one is there. If it,s virgin i don,t have an account with them. never have ,and never will

Yes indeed this is Virgin Mobile looking for payment. They hung up before I answered. I called Virgin Mobile and verified it was their collection dept.

Got a text message from this number about a "$100 gift card"? Maybe I'll use a land line to check what it's about.  Never had any contact at all with Virgin Mobil, if that's who's calling.
