These people are just one of many scumbag collection "agencies". Most are in a basement, probably high or drunk calling you to phish for the money for their next high. Although they technically CAN file papers in court for the outstanding debt, they cannot have warrants issued for your arrest. This was a DEBT. Ever heard of anyone being arrested for not paying their Visa or Mastercard bill??? No. If they're legit, they'll have mailed you something already before bothering to call. Ignore their calls altogether and they'll eventually go away, or speak with them and demand something in writing or send them a cease and desist letter. FDCPA requires them to send you something in writing if you request it. Anyone who refuses to do so is NOT legitimate. NEVER give them your bank or credit card info over the phone. Many people who have fallen victim to this scam give info over the phone and then have more money taken than was said by the fake agency and/or is never reported as paid on their credit report. Also, a lot of these "companies" don't have the right to work outside of their state, so the fact that they are calling you in your state may be against the law period. You can actually contact Bud Hibbs through that site for specific information/help and get a response fairly quickly.

Some guy called and said he was representing a law firm and my d.l and s.s #'s were used in a transaction without my approval first off he could not tell me my s.s number and then he also told me he was ready to take action in court in my home town.I then asked what this was in regards to and the guy didnt have the ability to tell me what this was about or what i had been implicated in.

These people have been contacting my previous address, harassing them after they were told I no longer live at this address. My former roommates told them to contact me through mail, and they said they did not have to. What are the laws and guidelines they are suppose to follow? If mail contact is requested shouldn't it have to be honored?  I know they are not any type of investigation unit so they should be prosecuted for falsifying information.

I got a call from an investagator Williams and he had also said I had a fruadlent check from 2008? I told him I was in Iraq at that time but gave him my information anyways because I thought maybe my ex-wife had done it but after reading this and calling the Marshells department I found out that all the things they had said about puting a criminal warrent out on me was a lie, I gave him thier phone number and now maybe they will learn not to mess with a service member, I had to cancel my card because at first it sounded true but the more I thought about it I knew it was all a lie and I think they are about to go and get what Karma has comeing to them.

Be wary of this company .. they use different phone numbers.  Somehow they find phone numbers and cell numbers of more than just siblings and family members.  They have even taken it to the point of giving one individual my social security number.  A letter is in the process of being sent to them ordering them to cease all phone calls to any individuals, my place of employment and to my personal phone number.  It remains to be seen if the phone calls stop.  If they don't stop, a notice to the Attorney General's office will be immediately sent.  Our Attorney General loves to file suits against these type of companies.  The so-called phony reps from this company will say that it is check fraud but nothing else is mentioned on the voicemail.  These idiots need to be put in their place.

Very rude, call at work and speak poorly and threatening.  Say they are an investigator Pope but just a bill collector.  Asked to send info via mail said no and that he would keep my line tied up all day if he had to.  I contacted an attorney and they said with the recording of him threatening me; there is a good law suit.  I sent a letter asking for information in writing in regards to why they are contacting me.  We will see if I get it.

These people are rude, and definatly scum bags they are not proffesional in any way,I have gotten voice mails that say I have a bad check and we need to contact them Now and if I dont do it in24 hours they will send a warrant and have me arrested. I hope they read all the posts that so many pople have posted against them and if they do I have only three words  for you HA HA HAAAAAAA!

These people are crazy!!!!!!! They called me about a payday loan, then the next time they called it was about a bank default! totally unprofessional, this "INVESTIGATOR" SCREAMED at my husband and then "transferred" him to her ASSISTANT!!!!!  WTH!!!!!!!!

I kept receiving calls on my cell phone from 404-935-4130 with a message to call Epstein Weinberg and Associates regarding a check fraud matter at 877-215-9330.  I called them back with the file number and asked who they were looking for since I couldn't make out the name on the voicemail.  Find out some man used my cell phone number in 2008 as his on some documents he filled out.  I think because I am female she knew it wasn't the person she was looking for and said she would delete my information.  We will see.

Anyone knows that if you pay a collection company that you have to send the letter thay sent you to all three credit companies so that they can change it to paid. You have to keep the letter for years due to the fact the company that you owe the money to can send it to another company to collect on it but the best way to find out who you should be paying is to call the NCA National Credit Adjusters and they will tell you what company has your account and the amount owed.

I got a phone call from this company while I was out of town...they continued to call saying that if I did not call back and give them a certain docket number for a complaint against me that further action would taken. These are some complete morons. They call and try and threaten you and scam you out of your money, There is no debtor jail or a arrest warrant for pay day loans Epstein you have got the right one now calling and threatening me. and forcing me to hand over my credit card information saying i owe thousands of dollar over the balance. DO NOT GIVE THE LOW LIVES YOUR BANKING INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people at Epstein, Weinberg & Associates are calling stating that  they are calling about "check fraud" and they are investigators. Don't give you card info to these scum of the earth. they told me I had to pay thousands of dollars on an account that was only a couple hundred. It' sounds like nothing but a bunch of uneducated low life people with a phone and a computer.

This is too sad that people really do this crap to people. The same thing happened to me and she wanted to leave my CC info and I said no because I didn't know who she was. A matter from 2009 and called family and friends stating that I dropped off the face of the earth and used a bad check. I that I closed an account with a bank and I told her that was funny I've been with the same bank up until 2012. These people have called me ten times in a span of 2 hours on a work number.My supervisor has told these people to stop calling this work number but they continue to do so.They even called my mothers house who is sick with cancer and harrassed her and told her that they were investigators looking for her daughter to arrest her for check fraud and had my mother in tears.By the way I have never in my life had this type of loan.It's sad that trash people like these can do that to folks and get by with it.I dont know what else to do but I;m calling a friend of mine who is a detective at the city police dept to get some advice on what to do.I'm calling the phone company also.This is rediculous but I will fly to Georgia if my Mom is called again about this con.

I got a call today from a rude guy by the name of Frank Rizzo stating I have a payday loan out since 2008 no catch this the loan was supposed to be for $1000 now it $6229 are you serious come on these crazy people as something else then are messing with the right one now, all those who have gotten calls from 877-215-9330 or 678-666-5773 they are scam fraud trying to get your money don't give them your credit card or bank account number. and then they will try and scare you and say you will be arrested within 24-36 hours wow......please be aware of these people.

An investigator called me and they knew everything about me say that I owed money from a bank I use to have, they said I owed $2000 and were going to have the authorities arrest me if I hung up and didnt pay,so I paid like a dumbass. I have kids and I just wanted them to stop calling. I messed up. I want to get my money back.
