Since two months Bell Canada calls every single day and night and are quite abnoxious! Bell is making big changes to it's fixed line network to implant fiber optic up to the home of every subscribers or previous subscribers trying to win back cursommers they lost or getting new ones. Letting go of old equipement and copper lines. Letting go of old equipement and copper lines. If the house you're living in still have a Bell copper line attached to it, Bell might want to take an appointment with you to send a technician to install the new lines. If you don't use a fixed line you may refuse the installation of fiber optic but, right now the installation might be free and if you refuse and later asked for the fiber optic to get to your home there will be line installation fees. Another way for Bell to impose their material on custommers and a very bad business policy. They will be more and more aboxious with their automatic caller systems due to the fact the changes are planned by regions over several years. Right now they are making the changes in the northern part of the 450 and 438 area to be completed in May 2024. They have the very bad habit of calling but never leaving a message if you don't answer in person. And if you answer, their robot takes too long to transfer you to a representative or employee to talk to you. Quite bothering after some times. If you don't want to do any business with Bell you may block the number or call them on another number for "clients services" and tell them you don't want the fiber optic to be installed neither have any of Bell services. BTW, those that have Bell services on copper lines and refuse fiber optic will have their services cancelled when the changes will be completed in their area, loosing their phone numbers and all.
