constant harassing phone calls looking for someone who does not live at the number. They have been told several times to stop calling and leaving messages. They are some kind of collection agency. Looking to sue them for harassment once their address is found.

I tried calling and it said something about mercantile collection.  I dont owe any money so i dont have any clue why they were calling.

They keep calling asking for Susan Warner and its getting very annoying

Almost every day twice a day my cellphone gets a call from this number. This has happened since I purchased my phone back in 2008.  You would think after this long the idiots would realize they are not calling the person they are looking for.

I wish there was a way to get their personal phone number and return the pleasure they've given me.

Constant calling asking for a woman who has been dead for 9 years. maybe I should give them the cemetery's number to call  :)

Get this call about once every two weeks, asking for a Chavon or something like that, tell them that is not mu name and do not know that person, they rudely state are you sure you arent Chavon? I said well hell Ive had my same name for 51 years and it sure isnt Chavon, and furthermore I told them Ive had this number since august 2005 and to stop calling. She rudely stated the calls will continue until debt is paid, or " Chavon " updates his number? I was like what the heck? ??    Anyway, I put their number on my call blocker app and they are hung up on the very second they dial and goes thru, i never hear it ring. I dont owe any past due debts, and haven't in years, but you cant get these bottom feeders to believe it, main thing is, do not give out any personal information, and never acknowledge the debt, if in fact it is yours, because if the SOL has not run out yet, they can reinstate it and will start over if you so much as even agree to pay anything at all. Just hang up on them or dont answer, and report to your states Attorney Generals Office, lets get these wackos closed down.

They call and call...I no can take.  I goin crazy...who da be callin at all hours...what do they want from me...i take it no more...

mercantile adjustment bureau they called me and ended the call when I answered. I called back and an operator (robot) transferred me to where "there is no one available to answer your call please leave a message..." bla bla bla, im not interested... thank you bye

This woman tried reachingmy MOM who is 91 yrs. young...HEY!!! And her memory is NOT the best! So I'm the Daughter and that CONVERSATION WILL NOT BE HAPPENING!!!! TRY someone else....Better NOT Call Back!!! I'm NOT THE ONE!!!!

We've been getting calls from this number a good few times a week, asking for someone that doesn't live here. Don't even pick up the phone, they just leave voicemails. We've only been here about a month and a half, and to our knowledge, the person living here before us didn't go by that name, either. Said she was calling about an "important business matter."

Called at 11:30 a.m., calling my husband by name, but he couldn't hear the low volume speaker so he hung up. Just checking the number here.

got a call from this number and a voicemail. wondering if i should call them back just to say some crap like "u kno, i ate like three tamales from this one restaurant and i got violent diarrhea." and then just start explaining in vivid detail an ordeal involving tamales, bowel movements, a live chicken, and new undies. i want to see when they hang up.

I receive a lot of spam calls, but I have a call filtering app and if I don't recognize the number it gets sent to voicemail. I expect that if it's important enough that I should call you back you will leave enough information to convince me you have a legitimate reason to call. This is the voicemail left by this number today:

"Hello my name is Janice Redding. I have an important message from Mercantile Adjustment Bureau. This call is from a debt collector, please return the call to 877-254-0957. When calling in reference ********".

No reference to a name, amount, or business that a debt is owed to? I have no reason to call you back! They gave me no reason to think it is a legitimate call or debt. Good luck with that, unless you leave more information, I will continue to reject the call, and eventually block the number, and it doesn't matter if you try from another number. I'm not going to even give you my name, you tell me who you are trying to reach and if the name is correct then the conversation can continue. My phone is on silent most of the time and my spam filter is pretty good at rejecting calls from numbers reported as spam. Now that I found this website and a few others, I know the call is probably some bogus debt that has nothing to do with me if it is legitimate anyway.

Phone numbers get recycled so if the person that had the same phone number as you was in debt the people that they were in debt with will try to call.  As long as you dont answer you are safe but if you do DO NOT give them any personal information in which they can use to charge the debt to who ever you bank with and other things like that so as long as you dont pick up they cant fo anything.

MAB has been leaving messages daily on my answering machine. they don't give the name of the person of interest. I have not called back.

A very rude woman called from this number and asked for me, I asked who was calling and she said 'This is Lois', I said Lois who, and she says 'I was getting to that, this is Lois with Service Company is this ____?' I said what are you calling about and she said 'I wont tell you that until you tell me who you are'. UhHuh, buh-bye. Number blocked.

The only thing is...these people aren’t what they say they are...these people want to steal your info, your identity and your money...Beware!
