one website says this number is a hospital bill collector another site says this number is a telemarketer asking for donations for a religious group

Hospital bill collection company.  They don't know what is legal and what isn't Consumer beware.

This number calls almost every day.  When answered there is never anyone on the line.  When I call the number back, it just rings and rings. They call on my and my wife's line and it is most annoying.  Just having surgery four days ago it is a feet to answer the phone even when it sits on the nightstand right beside the bed. Right now I am out on short term disability and everyone will be paid in full at some point or another. I am living on 60% regular wages and still have to pay for my ongoing health insurance at the same time. I do make nominal payments to everyone, showing my good faith, but I feel that this is more than a harassment on their part not mine. at least I'm trying!

I receive DAILY calls from 877-293-0208. When I answer no one ever speaks. The recording states they are calling for "Name" and it leaves the number. When you call it, it just rings. I had surgery recently and have lots of bills still coming in. Paying them as I am able. If this is a hospital collection service, the hospital is paying for NOTHING!! What a waste of time, money and energy; especially since they do not speak or answer the phone when you call back.

Don't know who they are   Have not been in any hospital in bay city.  They call every day but you call back you get thanks for calling our business office

Exact same problem as above someone leaves message saying I owe money. Never been to bay city? Try to call back they answer try to pay and no one talks to me?

When I answer no one is there, just a recording, when I return call no one picks up

This number calls daily with an UNKNOWN NAME which I do not answer and yet they don't leave a message. I had some medical services at the Matagorda Medical Center on January 11, 2016. They ran several tests and then I was transported to the UTMC in Galveston. I am getting my COBRA set up since I have a new job with no insurance available yet. This is rather aggressive considering 30 days have not even passed. This is for phone # 877-293-0205.

I called the number back. its a bill collector for 14 medical groups. I called Matagorda Regional Med Center and they say I don't owe anything. I gave them the number and they are looking into it. The person I spoke with at Matagorda even said it sounds like a scam.

I received several calls from 877-293-0205 that I continued to not answer due to the posts on this site.  I recently gave birth to my son in April 2016, and when I received my bill for the anesthesiologist, I noticed it had this number as their business number.  I can only assume that there is a central office that collects for several hospitals/doctors.  What I don't understand is why they were continously calling when I had not even received a bill.  I tried calling that number but got a voicemail that the office was closed.  I'll call back tomorrow.  I'll post again if it's anything interesting.

They call almost daily but the message they leave is only part of the number.  No other identifying info is left.   Thanks to the input here I think I'll put it on my auto reject list.  They want to contact me they can go via snail mail.

Total Scam.

I keep getting calls from this number and I do not owe any hospital bills...I believe it to be a scam. There is no one to talk to you...

I had surgery several months ago and now I keep getting calls everyday from this number.  I never pick up and just let voicemail pick it up, they leave a message saying please call back to this number, but they never identify themselves or even address the message to me.  If I do owe hospital bills, I will wait till I receive something from snail mail.

They call and ask for some one whose mumbled um-intelligeable  name I don't recognize.
