Calling for my ex wife, been divorced 10 years.

Caller ID says Allied Interstate. Google shows them to ba a collection agency. I just keep blocking

These people call daily, at least once a day. They've even sent me a collection notice for the DISH Network account I cancelled and paid the exorbitant early termination fee for over a year ago. Now they claim to be collecting on behalf of DISH. Two problems with this claim: (1) DISH never sent me a bill during that 1 year period stating that I owed them more money. If they had, after some discussion as to what the additional amount was for and depending on the outcome of that conversation, I might have paid it; and (2) I got a notice from another "collection agency" stating that I owed a different amount to DISH. Really?! Do I think it's a scam? You bet I do! I'm in my early 60's so these idiots think they have a mark who will fall for their bull. I've been dealing with scammers for years and they've yet to get a penny out of me. They really need to just give up and apply for jobs at McDonald's or Burger King mopping the floors but they wouldn't get that right either!

I finally get someone to respond when they call. Can't understand a word they are saying. I asked to be taken off the call list and they become argumentative.

Calls me about a business matter, but will not say what said business matter is about. Just wants my address before any information is divulged about the call.

I not only receive calls from this number, but they have hacked my account as well!

I got calls from this number consistently, mostly at around 11am EST.  Sometime in the afternoon around 4pm.  The calls would drop as soon as I answered.  Very strange and suspicious.

This number calls me at twice a week. I never pick up.

He called me ten seconds ago

I’m tired of this number calling 5,6 or 7 times a day. They don’t leave a message.

Called me at 9am. Indian accent asking me to verify my address and DOB. I hung up.

Good for you! I'm also in my 60's and totally agree with you. These are the type of people who could screw up a wet dream.

I kept getting this one ring calls. Then then they would ring until I would answer and hang up. I answered by accident one time and the asked to speck to me. I asked who is calling.The person had a very heavy accent I could only understand the first word Allied. He then demanded to speck to me. I told him he wasn't specking to anyone unless I knew who, what, and where he was. He started babbling which I could not understand. I then told him the only way we were going to get anywhere is to put someone on the phone who could speck better English. He hang up. The phone calls started every four hours 24/7. I blocked him and called a lawyer.

You shouldn't be criticizing other people's English.  Really, he wanted to "speck" with you, "specking"?
