- HopeI was gullible enough to click on a Dairy Queen Facebook ad advertising a free birthday blizzard. It took me to an official-looking Dairy Queen page and had me fill out a questionnaire and even said there was 4 of these coupons left in my city (which was actually named, thanks to location services) and led me to another page asking for a PIN. It texted me the PIN and only had 160(?) seconds to enter it and it counted down. I thought this was weird, but thought it was to make sure there wasn't an inactive user on the page. I entered the PIN from the first line of my text and it asked for another one with another 160 seconds. I stopped there because why would you need two? I looked at the texts and it said I was signed up for $9.99 for a SoLow Elite game.
I called T-mobile and they help stop the content and I called the number and canceled with the automated service. I called back and confirmed with a representative, who also put me on a block list.
I also sent a message to Dairy Queen Corporate Offices about their business brand being used to trick people.- Caller: SoLow
