I received a call from 877-417-1758 on 8 Sep 15.

This so called "Debt" collector called me regarding an outstanding balance from Rogers. Surprise..Surprise. This account was paid in full in early 2013 and they called today, Nov 5, 2015. Luckily, I keep all of my records re: payments. Rogers are ruthless and I'd rather have bamboo shoved up into my gumline than deal with them.

I received a call on Nov 9/2015. The auto message said that they are from Met Collection for Rogers. When I pressed the "1" button, a live CSR answered. She asked me my phone number as the phone was auto-dialed.
First, I do not have Rogers (have enough with Rogers. No more business with them)
Second, wonder what kind of company and system they have. Why should I provide my number if they are the one who "CALLED" me.
Third, I have been receiving "suspicious" phone calls from time to time for collection. I wonder how come the financial institutions or businesses "called" and "verified" if the phone number actually belongs to the applicants before doing business with them.

My phone is just like my property. You call me just like you knock on my door. A stranger knocks on my door and expect me to give all my info to them?
