- Gorgeous Seexxee MeeHoly crap!!! These people are killing me!!! They call constantly. Something about a debt collector- even gave me a file number to refer to when I called back. I have no idea who it is- I don't owe any monies to anyone, which, is a shock! But, even when I called to get me off their damn calling list- there is no answer! I called my phone provider- to have the number blocked, forever. For some odd reason- they claim it takes 4-6 weeks- so, if they continue to call- remains to be seen- only been about 2 weeks......to be continued...
- edthese guys just started calling me looking for some body regarding some debt. I told them I don't even know this person they were looking for. 3 times they called and everytime I told them they got the wrong number. I even called them back and told them they have a wrong number. person did apologize and told me they would remove my phone number from their files. but I don't think that's going to happen after reading all the complaints on this site. spoke with a "Sanjay" although that's probably not his real name, he was polite but its just a game and he probably is not sincere in promising not to call my number again.
it was very hard to understand him due to his thick east indian accent and he mumbles when he speaks. I had to listen to a voice mail on my phone multiple times just to kinda figure out what he was saying. if they call me again I will lodge a complaint with FTC and attorney general- Caller: FSL, LLC

- Me| 1 replyGuy with a heavy accent claiming it was a confidential business matter. I only answered it because I wanted to tell him to stop calling here and never call again. He asked for myself or my husband by name I did not respond but instead asked who he was and what he wanted and when he started rambling on about this confidential business matter I yelled never to call again and hung up

... and AmEx will send you straight back to FirstSource or GC Services or NCO/Expert Global or whichever favored henchman is handling the account.
Let's again review the "direct pay" fallacy. Creditors are typically under contract not to end-run their hired collection agencies. If "direct" payment is allowed at all, the agreement funnels back the percentage which the agency was going to keep anyway. Either way in this case, you support lawbreaking debt collectors and also support the bank which keeps relying upon them to do their dirty work. Unless of course you ask the vital question of what rushing to pay will get you, rather than offering resistance.
