They have called once or twice per day for a week now and left no message

This number has called claiming to be PSE. Saying money is owed to them NOW or they will cut off my electricity. Called PSE myself, all accounts are in good standing order. Can we say SCAM!?!?

I just got through to them, and they still claim to be PSE collections in Renton WA, even when I told her she was being recorded, she stayed on the line

This number has been calling for over a week. Never leave a message. I googled it and found this page. I know for a fact my account at PSE is good, I just paid my bill a few days ago! Thanks for the info!

getting calls from this number 2-4 times a day.  DO NOT ANSWER.

This is PSE collections. They have been mistakenly calling me for years looking for someone who does not live here. I've called them up...they apologize but the next day it starts again..this weekend I called customer service at PSE and let them know their collection dept is not only stupid but harassing. He looked my account up and found my number associated with not one but TWO outstanding accounts! We have an account and are current. He removed the numbers and apologized so hopefully that did the trick because they are driving me bananas!

This number is in fact a scam! I called the number back and they answered, after a brief pause the woman said "PSE" instead of their name. I told her I looked them up and learned they were a scam, she said "no maam we are PSE" again not saying an actual name. I looked up the number for Puget Sound Energy and of all the numbers listed this was not one of them. I called Puget Sound Energy and was told that there are a number of scammers out there attempting to scam their clients and that this number WAS NOT one of their phone numbers. BEWARE!

This is PSE and it is a legit number. They called because I owed on a bill that was due to remind me. Took my payment and it posted to the account as expected. Call them back or get the lights turned off! lol

Happened just today.  Called it back from an outward only number (so they can't call back) and "Merriam" with an accent answered as "Puget Sound Energy."
After some inquiries, she said that if I was uncomfortable talking to her she could give me the customer service number, instead.  And she gave me PSE's actual customer service number!!!   Now, I knew it was a scam so this is where they hedge their bet that I would know that was the correct number and think they must be legitimate.  Wow!

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS PEOPLE!!

By the way, anyone can post here, including the scammers.    Think about that before you trust some anonymous person tell you it's safe and actually PSE.
PSE's customer service number is on your bill and on their web site.
It's WWW.PSE.COM and the number is 888-225-5773... but DO NOT take my word for it.  You don't know who I am, either.
Look it up yourself.  It's on your bill.

Thank you to to dfo who commented previously that your phone # was on someone else's account... I just called PSE (NOT the collections #) and that is what happened to me.  Our business # was listed as someone else's secondary number... maybe an old employee, etc.  Anyway, PSE looked it up and removed the number from their account.  Hopefully we will not have any more calls!!!

This number calls stating I owe a large amount on my electric bill that is past due and they were turning electricity off that day if I didn't pay bill right then with a credit card. My bill is never late so I knew it was a scam. It should be illegal and the should go to jail for fraud.
