Did not receive a call, but received a postcard from "EWS" saying "We have a parcel delivery for you" with a control number and listing this telephone # as a contact

I received a postcard addressed to my Nashville TN address stating that EWS had a Parcel Delivery.  I called the number within the times and days listed on the postcard and got a voice mail message to leave my name, telephone number, and control number.  Nobody called me back.

Same as what "Nashvillian" listed.  I did not try to call and will not try as it seems to be some kind of scam.

It's a scam. If you receive the post card, please note that the postcard in mass-produced, that is to say that they printed thousands, possibly millions with the same phone number and control number.

The control number should be unique right? Then why is it printed on one side of the card but the address affixed with a label sticker on the other? Shouldn't that be printed too? Just as an experiment, does anyone else's control number end in 4-413?

I think I will contact the USPO Monday morning to file an official complaint against EWS; they claim to have a delivery for me and in reality that have no such delivery.

I also live in Manchester Tennessee. I received what seems to be this same post card. I tried calling after hours with hopes of finding exactly what this company was and had no luck.I am guessing its just a marketing tactic to get people to call to try and sell some sort of product...

Manchester here also, got the EWS postcard today.  After reading the notes here, I won't be calling.  I figured it was a scam, hence the reason I am here.  Thanks to you all, you saved me a lot of time.  As for the ones in Manchester, does your control number end with 3-312?

Same thing. EWS sends a post card claiming they have a parcel to deliver to you.  It's got a toll free number, but it's a salespitch for a water system

Same story.  My number is FBW1028-05.  I noted that there is an image of people in blue outfits like coveralls, causing me to believe that it was an advertisement for some kind of service a workman would come to your home and provide.
