It's a scam.  They call your house saying you have an outstanding balance with, in my case, Sprint and they want to settle the outstanding balance over the phone.  I have never had an account with Sprint, nor have I ever co-signed for someone with an account for Sprint.  They just say they will remove your name from the collections list when you tell them you never had an account with Sprint.

they call my Kid's prepaid cell, as much as 25 times a day. At $.20 a minute they use up air time that's for emergencies. I've changed the phone number.

They call my house and if they cant get a hold of me they call my cell phone.  They tell me i have an outstanding balance? WTH??? I'm up with my bills. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THIS IS A SCAM.

WTF, Missed a call from this number. Since I was expecting a few incoming calls I called it back some collections comany. They gave me a name of the person they were attempting to reach. I've contacted my wireless provider to complain & make sure there are no additional charges on this number.  Don't give them any info!

Today I'm sure it was the same collections company looking for same person called my cell using diff # 877-567-2620.  Would not tell me their name or location.

They called. I said "Hello?" There was a pause and some kind of spanish-sounding song came on.
Oh geez.

I called the number 877-490-5940.  I was told it's a company called RMS (I think it stands for receivables management).  NOTE: When they rep calls you, NEVER give any information, record the call as you ask for the manager. Then ask them for information, and NEVER give them your info (other than: "___ isn't here right now, but why do you want them.)  When they say: "We can only speak to ___" tell them you are the legal representative, authorized to speak on their behalf.  NEVER AGREE TO ANYTHING and DON"T PROMISE ANYTHING TO THESE scum bags.

Got a call today on my cell phone..... They just hung up and didn't say anything.

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not pick up, but they did leave a message, which consisted of 1 full minute of garden-variety instrumental elevator music (kinda Spanish-y), then 6 seconds in which a lady said my husband's name, paused briefly, said, "hello?", paused briefly, and then hung up.

I let it got to message. I got the "spanish music." 2 calls in about 15 min.  Just for the hell of it I stayed listening to the message.  It was Acoustic Alchemy I think. Nice guitar duo.  Hope they are getting royalties from this sillyness.  Then a "hello" and my machine cut them off.  

So glad that this webpage is here.  

BTW - we owe ZERO money to anyone.  So, dunno what is up.
