A "credit union" scam call - verified with our CU.

Said to call regarding an urgent matter with credit union. We called our credit union, and they had no knowledge of the number and it was not one of their phone lines.

Ditto.  They knew my name.  Knew my credit union name.  Must be available on Dark Web?  Total scam.  I put both numbers (the one they called from, and the number their voice message told me to call back to) on spam list.

Feb 2021. Paid with credit card for a service where the provider used Square Reader and mobile phone for point of sale. Soon after got American female automated calls, This is X Credit Union from the Delinquent Dept, if you are NAME press 1 if are not NAME press 2. Then a live American male fraudster called with the spiel and had a number I could call if I thought he was hot garbage...Click. Get on this any day feds.

Since that registry has nothing to do with either one of those items why did you chose that screen name?

They called about Georgia Own Credit Union saying something about my account.

I know this is a very old post, but they are still up to their tricks. I am getting robocalled by them now.

Since the last post in this thread was last year why didn't you include what the recorded message that they left said?
