Got two calls today -- don't know who they are.

This number calls me every so often... MRS Associates, they are telling me I owe parking tickets from 1994 over $300 on a car I NEVER Owned....  these people are insane... I tried to explain they might have a wrong person since this happened in NY and I live in FL... they called again, I said you have a wrong person, the nasty person on the phone replies, "oh so you're not going to pay? you're not cooperating??" I said right, you have a wrong person and this is from 1994... ??? how they even got MY number is beyond me... but they need to check their facts before persuing the wrong person!!

These so called debit collectors belong in prison under RICO for larceny....

Several calls, I never pick up.  Out of concern, I redialed the # and got an automated response for MRS Associates.  I immediately hung up and will certainly not take any future calls.

This people kept calling about tickets from a car I never owned.
Some one should start a lawsuit against them.  They should do
their homework and get the facts before calling someone.

M R S  says I owe $122 from a parking ticket Nassau County NY from May 1996. He even gave me the ticket number. I do not live in NY, so they must be trolling the phone book. The guy told me there is no statute of limitation on this debt, then started naming different streets I have lived on, different cars I have owned....this sounds like stalking! I am afraid it's identity theft in the making.

Called me & had a lot of my personal information. Stated Nassau County got Audited in August of 2010 and that I owed them $ from a moving violation on January 02, 2000! Gave me a ticket number and stated they were collecting a debt - but were not a collection agency - BUT if I did not pay them that they would send me to collections?

I just called Nassau County (516) 572-2700 and they actually verified the info? And said I can write a letter to get a copy of the ticket (that I don't rember getting).

I am getting phone calls from the 877 number sometimes twice per day.  It too is for a parking violation in 1992 in Nassau County where I never was and for a car I never owned. I was never notified by the County or MRS prior to 2010,  MRS Associates is involved.  It seems to me there are too many of these bogus tickets . Thus, fraud is either at the County level or MRS is getting someone in the county to write bogus tickets and then they go out and try to collect the debt.  The NYS Attorney General's office should get involved to determine if this is a scam.

I get the same call about something I owe to the Providence Municipal court and I don't live there- have you had any help stopping them- it's been a year

These people have been calling under this and other numbers for someone else's debt who had my cell phone over 5 years ago. Even if I had a debt they are past the statute of limitations to collect. I have returned their number 4 times over the past 5 years to explain this is not me and need to take my number off their 'list'. Any Mickey Mouse discernment would show I am not the person they seek. Once they piggybacked threatening calls from 'attorneys': "You have until 6 PM to night" stuff which I ignored. It's like a cycle. It keeps starting up again. Either they are incredibly stupid or just trying to harass. I changed my cell ring for these numbers to a dull-nothing so I can't hear it anyway. If they want to keep wasting computer time so be it. At least they won't be bugging someone else while their computers keep dialing me.

I've left messages before, I want to know how to stop these calls !!! They come at all hours of the day and night and I'm on the do not call list !!

Got a call from a guy named Alex this a.m. looking for my husband on a personal matter????  He would not give me any further message.  I told the guy my husband most likely would not return the call if the guy could not give me any more detail.  I was thinking scam phone call as soon as I heard a message when I picked up to "please hold for a very important call".  No real company does that for an important call.  Unfortunately we don't have caller ID on our phone.  The guy did not give me a company name either. After reading these other comments I am pretty sure my suspicions are correct.

I have a texting app on my kindle that allows phone calls if you buy minutes.. I have never put my number for this app on anything. They have called twice but I didn't find out until it showed I had a missed call.
