Received a call this afternoon and he said it was RBC and that our credit card was compromised and there was a $158 fraudulent charge on our card in Toronto. He said he canceled the card. He then proceeded to ask for our credit card number to verify this. Then we knew it was a scam. Beware please… Showed up as RBC bank, and the number 1–877-565–7128.
Connected our bank to report this.

Had the same call.  Told him I was not a client of RBC

Just received a call.  ID said RBC Bank.  Did not answer.  I never answer a call until I can confirm the number that it is legit. If legit I call back.  I also have my voice mail off, so if a scam they are disappointed.

Same number today and said the same thing but I caught on and told him this was fraud and he hung up the phone

Call from same number. Calling about a transaction at a gas station in Kanata ON. When I asked what kind of transaction, he replied it was a purchase. Wad it a credit card transaction? He hung up. Lame attempt at a scam.BTW, I don't have any accounts at RBC!
