I think people who bash debt collectors are people that owe out alot of money.... I mean you know you took the loan out and never paid it back and in some rare cases where it is fraud you should have that proof such as a police report or something from your bank showing fraudulent activity... I mean these people do their jobs to call you to try and get the $$ that you, in all reality STOLE and you have the nerve to get mad and call them scums......They are legit and I challenge someone to prove otherwise..... So for all you that owe payday loans watch out cause they will be callin you..and if they cant get a hold of you your momma, grandama,job,neighbor ect.

I received a call from 716-831-9041 and was left a voicemail to call back 877-572-7572, a Mrs Schaeffer, she has worked with me & allowed me to make payments on the account. I as well was very leary of this company being a scam but now I feel more confident that I can work with them to resolve my matter. I owe the debt so I am paying. The company is VCS Associates, they do outsourse work for United Debt Holdings, which bought the original debt from ChecknGo. (Internet payday loan)

I AM a victim of identity theft I EVEN have the local and FBI reports and these people, more specifically "James" call me and tell me that they will report me to INS to have me arrested and deported because I was the illegal alien that stole my name. phhfffff......INS can check my background I was born and raised in the US. I offered to fax ALL paperwork to prove the theft and they just refused. what good that did me they still left it on my credit and when I called United Debt Holding and told them the way I was treated all the girl could tell me was "yeah, well .... um yeah sorry about that" OH and Mandi I don't steal I WORK hard for my $, and these people reach way outside of doing "just" their job scare tactic or not a threat is a threat no matter how you put it

Mandi, you were pretty easy to trace.  We know who you are and why you are writing these type of posts across the internet.  You are a career criminal and you will be stopped.  How dare you tell people that you and your cohorts will be calling their momma, "grandama", job, neighor, etc. Then again, that would be another law that you and Jamie are breaking and another reason to throw you losers in the clink~

Every state has a different garnishment percentage!! Way to sound smart though!! I'm assuming that you are behimd on your child support as well!

You must, must, report them to the New York AG and your state AG.  Only takes 10 minutes at most to complete the reports for your state and NY (they are all online).  Also, beware, they have gone by 6 different names over the last 3 years, none of them listed with the Corporate Commission in NY (so where they are getting the LLC is nothing short of fraud).  They have been outlawd from doing business in Maine for their illegal collection activities.  They are an offshoot of the old "MacKennon Group of illegal debt collectors" based out of Buffalo area of NY.  The tactics make the Gestapo, KGB, and Stassi look like Boy Scouts in comparrision.  Also, beware, there are some reports that they are falsifying debt ownership documents.
