I had a voicemail on my cell telling me it was "Drew" calling about "my" court date and to call 877-586-0609. I called because I do not have anything legal pending, and legally, this is not how anyone is notified or asked about REAL legal processes. The message on the other end said "there is no one available at ext 1102- please leave a message."
After doing a search online, I found out that this is not even a valid phone number! I have no court date- this truly has to be a scam!

These guys called me and said they were trying to serve me with court documents and it was a serious legal matter.. they even knew my past employment

This is definately a scam.  They called saying they had "sealed legal documents" they needed to serve to my mother.  This number was offered as a number to call to discuss her "case".  I reported them to the police and they are investigating.

Left a message from Christina trying to contact my grandson.  Said he had a pending matter that needed to be discussed re a pending action.  No sure who the action is against. Me or my grandson.  They didn't say.  Left an ID number to reference.  Blocked this caller.  My grandson is 35 and lives in CA.  Anything to do with him would not go thru me.

Received call and they said it was about a 2016 medical debt and can pay 900 or go to court and pay 3000. Yet said they cannot tell me who the original debtor is. Said they sent me papers from United law firm in January. Have no clue what they are talking about

877-586-0609 Called to notify my of a complaint against me. Definitely A scam. Blocking rhe number and notifying the police. Notice should come in mail.

877-586-0609 "Catherine" called and said a sibling needed to call her back by end of business day about a "filed complaint" and "pending allegation".  They also called everyone on our phone's family plan and knew all our names.

Likewise this number called my father and grandmother and not me! No idea. I called the number they left and was sent to an answering system. I left them the DA# and my phone. I'm curious what they say if they reply

called my uncle looking for me for a "legal matter", i called back and they said i owe wells fargo a debt from 10 years ago and they are suing me. no knowledge of this debt, i am in good standing with wells fargo and they have never contacted me. i asked for paperwork to be sent to me and he sent me a page with a payment agreement to pay off the debt, hung up on him. i dont trust it.

You are right not to trust this. This is a phony debt scam. That pay-off page you were sent is absolutely NOT valid to establish that a debt is owed.

They keep calling and leaving message, i called back number they hung up twice then sung silient night.

i have reported this number and the documents they sent me, which now show as "no longer valid" to the FTC. during a global pandemic is the most horrible time to try to scam people out of their money. i hope they have legal repercussions.

I reported them to the FTC yesterday as well. Called the company that I supposedly owed money too and they said absolutely not. It has nothing to do with them and to ignore them and not pay a dime.

Found the phone number of one of the guys claiming to work for the delivery service with docs. His name is Wayne, ph is 707 306 4457. Payback time: call him and mess with HIS mind and then block his number

You are right Kate, Wayne from DDS, document delivery service called and wanted to delivery legal papers for a civil suit on a past debt. His number was 707 306 4457.

You forgot to mention this is how a debt or process service scam works. This outfit has a long and ugly history on this site.

How do these people get such personal information. They had our full ssn on this agreement letter.  They knew slot of other information as well.
