they have called 2 days in a row now.  Say the whole gov. grant thing.  How do you get them to stop calling?  or do they just stop when you say you aren't interested????  I'm also wondering what website people are looking at that they might type in their email addresses and stuff.   Like for me I only sign up for baby stuff like gerber and pampers and stuff.  So i'm just wondering what site sold my info!!!

File a complaint with Akron BBB, the caller seems to be based in Akron, OH.

They call me at least twenty times a day.  it usually starts at about 5:00 AM and stops at around 11:30 PM.  I have complained to government agencies and my number is on the do not call list.  The few times that I have answered I have never had a person on the other end.

They called me today and I fell for it. Now read this I'm going to cancel the card. I'm so disappointed!

I had been getting calls from them for awhile and putting them off but they called again last night and don't ask me why but I went for it. The name of the guy that I talked to was also named "Chris". This morning I did a search and found not only this page but a number of other web pages about them - they are a scam. I gave them my debit card # - not credit card # so I had my bank cancel the card. They did get the $2.95 from me - it's being processed today but at least they won't be able to get anymore.
One other thing - I found the number you all have received was in my call list but the number "Chris" gave me was 1-888-811-1915. I called today - half the time it never picked up or was busy. I finally did get a hold of a guy named "Blake" and he said the subscription would be cancelled and I would get an email confirming this which I find highly unlikely - the reason? I never got the email that "Chris" said I would receive today.
Oh, yea, they must work at night because that's when I would get calls from them and when they call, it sounds like there are a lot of people on phones talking. When I talked to "Blake" today - it was very quite, like he was the only one there . . . hmmmm

Calling me regarding grants! i am calling them to unsubscribe and their customer service line never picks up the phone!!!!!

they called me almost everyday.  I just told them nicely that I'm not interested and please take me off the calling list.  I  haven't heard from them since.  So if you are nice to them....I think they will stop calling!

I just got a call from this number...I answered it but there was no one there....so I typed it in....wtf is this??? and where did they get my # from???

2000hrs Friday 1st May 2009 Recieved a call from a John Wilson saying I had been awarded a free government grant and asked me to give him details of how he could claim $2 95 to cover the cost of postage for my documentation.I reluctantly gave him the details then changed my mind and told him to cancel the transaction in it's entirety. An hour later he was still persevering with me about the payment. I informed him that I was far from satisified with his performance and that I would be reporting the matter to his customer services department.

Grantfinder pronet must be the biggest rip-off setup in the U.S.

How can people like GRANT FINDER PRONET be allowed to function in this manner?

i started recieving calls from this number 5-11-09.when u say hello noone says anything. so i salled them back and asked what organization is this. they asked me who is this,then i started getting louder and the -itch hung up on me.SCAM SCAM SCAM

Yeah,I agree with Ms.Honeykay & Sandy. I've also gotton a call from that company saying & asking for the same info but when i reply saying i didnt have  what they was asking for so then she asked if there was anyone else around at the time that had a credit card,debit card,or mastercard.To me, then, it seemed like they are desperate for lab rats meaning people they can trick

called and asked me my name then hung up after i answered "yers"

I fell for it! gave the my card number and then felt very uneasy.
called them back, got customer service{ very hard to understand her} and told her to cancel everything, that i did not want it. hopefully they do. i am going to get a new dept card. I am so mad! i feel violated.

I've received endless calls from this number over the past few days. Every time I call I get a recorded message "Your call is important to us. Please remain on the line and the next available customer service representative will assist you." Of course, after about five minutes on hold, I get disconnected.

Has anyone figured out a way to get them to stop calling?

These people keep calling my cell phone and it costs me minutes. I have over and over again asked to be removed and they will not.

I have received 2 calls so far.  The first time, I thought it was legitmate until they asked for $2.95 up front.  Then I said no and hung up.
Today they called again.  This time I said sure, send the package.  When asked which cc to charge to, I told them I would do it on COD only.  They said no, can't do that need debit or cc #.  I said again, COD only.  They hung up on me....surprise, surprise.

Don't know these people.  Never applied for a grant.

Today I have gotten calls from this number on my cell phone every hour from 2 pm pacific until 8:30 pm pacific.  I finally had to turn off my cell phone.  I called the number back and it said they are a Government Grant finder company.  I left a message to get them to stop calling.
