I and my whole family and ex's family got calls today from Ryan Wells of this company.  I called them and asked what they want.  They said they were collecting on a debt from 2004. And he threatened to come to my house and serve me for court.  I advised him...1.never threaten me 2. I know the law...it's illegal to collect on credit debt after 5 years 3. You broke several laws. 4. I don't owe a things...was paid years ago. 5 I'M GOING TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL in the morning here in SC to file a class action lawsuit against your company. He hung up on me.  I called back. Spoke with the supervisor Mr Eddie Bellows. He at first said he is closing my case...they made a terrible mistake. I told him I'm still filing a complaint in the am. He told me to SHUT MY TRAP. So...stay tuned....if I can get the AG to sanction them...y'all can join suit.
SO...call them back...warn them to never call you or family again. So they close your file. Get a name. Write it down.

PS...tell them you are also recording everything.  Good luck y'all.

Hi...so am I.  We need to nail them. Even though they closed my case. I'm still pissed.

I received an ominous and threatening voice mail message on my cell today. I phoned back, not knowing who the caller was or what company he allegedly represented.  The man who answered said he was a receptionist and he claimed not to know which company had phoned me because he answers phones for numerous companies. He eventually connected me with the same man who had left the awful message on my cell (although he denied he was the same man). I had to ask him to repeat the company name because he said it too fast to be discernible. He claims he is Ryan Wells of Ashford Litigation. He proceeded to try to extricate my social security number and birth date from me. I refused. He became loudly aggressive and said he had every right to get such information from me without divulging the intent, saying it was part of the Privacy Act.  I laughed and told him not to call me again, but he shouted over my voice, "I'm not afraid of you!  I'll see you in court."  I wish something could be done about these scammers who prey on the elderly!

Called my elderly father looking for someone with our last name. I called to inquire why are they calling my Dad and to please not disturb him. They claimed they were a law firm which was obviously not true. They called me an [***] and hung up. I will contact California authorities to file a complaint.

And credit report is clean. 1) They will not identify the company they work for. 2) they will not tell you the original debtors. 3) they hang up when you tell them that since they will not answer questions 1&2 to stop calling and mail you the information. 4) they call back on different spoof numbers all the time 5)they are now harassing family members and calling them on their unlisted cell phones.  Seriously they are a scam. They are not following fair debt practices. And from reading comments on other pages debts are over 10-20 or more years old. I told them I called the police for harassment. (I did) and since they choose to keep calling and not give any real info next stop is reporting to the attorney general of my state. As per our sheriffs office advice.

Have they called you back? I've told them to stop calling and mail it if it is legitimate. They refuse and have now started calling at 7 am on anonymous numbers and have stepped it up on the harassment of our family. Calling them at all hours also. Turning in everything we have on them to our attorney general.

Non existent debt or years past statute of limitations. Claim to want to serve papers will not tell you what company they work for. Very sneaky. Had to look up all numbers that have called to link it to this company. Will not stop calling and send information in mail. Rude. They have gotten unlisted cell phone numbers of family and have now started calling at 7 am to all hours. All day. Not BBB Accredited. Beware scam. Report to your state's attorney general. They are in violation of all fair dept practices.

Same here. How do they get cellphone numbers that are not listed? They started calling at 7 to 8 every morning. Refuse to answer.

Same here! Left threatening msg blah blah blah said her name is Nicole banks.

I got the same thing from Mr Bellows. I think a class action may be due.
