- deebow replies to JereI just got a call today from that same number suggesting that they are a collection agency looking to collect on a debt. I figured it was XM because I got a bill 2months after my trial period ended(new car) stating that I'm late with my payment. First of all, I never renewed my account after the trial period so how am I late for something I never started. I called XM personal number and got all into their [***] and the lady said that she was sorry for the company's mistake. I'll be waiting to see if I receive another call just to see if they're as crooked as they are painting themselves to be.
- Greg| 1 replyThe company indeed is a debt collection agency, bound by the laws of the FDCPA. Their information for disputing debt/cease communications letter is:
EOS CCA D/B/A Collecto, Inc.
700 Longwater Dr.
P.O. Box 5369
Norwell, MA 02061
They collect debt for all sorts of people, but primarily XM Satellite Radio.- Caller: Collecto, Inc. D/B/A EOS CCA

- joeXM RADIO is nothing more than a bunch of scam artists. I renewed my service 1 year ago, with the express stipulation that it be non-renewable..and low and be=hold, when the supscription ended, I got a quarterly renewal bill..Called, and on hold for many minutes, then transferred 3 times then hung up on, multiple times..They deliberately make it impossible for you to even cancel something that you didnt order in the first place!
Why cannot the Federal Govt do something to stop these people from practicising scam tactics on the public..I can't imagine how many people every day pay these idiots for something they never ordered.
This has to stop now! Please help us someone!- Caller: xm radio
- Call type: Debt collector
- JohnSame rubbish from XM radio, I owe them money after cancelling the radio. This is more than 6 moths old now and I have email from them telling me I owe nothing. BEWARE of these fraudsters.
I smell a class action coming up, anyone know a hungry lawyer?- Caller: EOS-CCA
- amandad replies to Sablood| 2 repliesactually check the terms and conditions with xm and you will see that if you don't cancel at the end of your term it will roll over into a short grace period on which they will keep your service on up to 90 days while they are waiting to hear from you to cancel or renew...if they don't hear from you after that 90 days they will cancel your service for you and then bill you the difference...if you chose not to look at the terms and conditions when you signed up thats your fault not theres. also when paying a past due xm bill that xm has placed with EOS-CCA you cant pay with a check. the system in which the payment is inputed thru does not allow you to...there is not even an option to pick a check payment. XM is the one that placed you there and sais you owe the bill..XM is the one who don't give the option to pay by check over the phone...not CCA. Also when the account is placed with CCA its there for a short time..they don't report to your credit but xm will when the account goes back to them. so CCA tries to help you out by letting you pay it with them with no problem and no credit reporting....So instead of you thinking you are right and thinking CCA is a scam get your facts straight..CCA is a multi billion dollar comp and is one of the top 3 collection agencies in the world. so I hate to burst your bubble but CCA would not risk a lawsuit and pursue a "scam" for you measly "38$"
- JodiReceived a call this morning from this number and didn't know what it was about. We do not have any past due bills. googled the number and found this site. My husband has canceled his subcribtion TWICE wtih XM. Now they are trying to collect on a debt??? Just a side note...we paid when we canceled last time because they said we canceled to late. Now, looks like they have charged us again and are trying to collect. XM...is horrible....do NOT use them!!!!
- Caller: Not sure..ccs or something like that
- Jodi replies to amandadsounds like you work for cca or whatever...the problem is if you have already canceled your service and paid the last month, XM should not still have a remaining balance to send to a collection company in the first place. The scam is from XM and it sounds like from reading these posts that CCA has horrible customer service. They should be explaining and helping the public understand. Not hanging up. So...amandad...sounds like you work for the cca company but your company has its own issues.
- XM ScamAmandad writes: "... if you don't cancel at the end of your term it will roll over ..."
That is the scam right there: note the words "the end of your term."
Well, is the term ended or not? Clearly the average user believes he pays to the end of the term and that's that.
There should be no obligation to pay beyond that term, and any small print stating otherwise is clearly a scam. We all know that.
It looks like a scam, smells like a scam and thousands of users feel they've been scammed, so quite clearly it's a scam.
The sad thing is that more people don't complain. It's almost as though we've been conditioned by so much of this abuse coming at us from all angles, like little children being conditioned to suffer. We all know it's a total rip-off but we do nothing. "Oh, no, look, see--it's in the small print! Damn, they got me fair and square! I have to pay another 3 months even though I agreed to a one-year deal." - SuzannSame thing happened to me... I cancelled my service after my contract was up....and they tried to offer me half price and a free radio to stay and I said I just could not afford the service any longer - so they offered me an even lower price - at this point I figure if I wasn't a good enough customer before for you to offer me HALF PRICE????!!!!!! than I really don't need your service EVER again. About a week later I get a letter saying they tried to renew my service but my credit card had expired and could I kindly call them with the new credit card #????????????? REALLY????????????? I called them up and asked WHY on earth AFTER I said no thank you to everything you offered me did you go and try to bill my card anyway?????????? LUCKY for me they only had a credit card # that had recently expired --- had they had the new # they would have renewed me anyway after I said no thank yo to all their offers!!!!!????? Well here it is 2 YEARS later and they call and write and call and write that I owe them money????? They send different amounts each time too????!!!!! I have called NO JOKE 7 TIMES!!!!! since and spoke to their customer "dis"service department and each time they SWEAR to me that they have fixed the problem and I will not hear from them anymore????? Guess who just called again?????

- THSMTHSgot a call saying they were a debt collection agency and that there was a problem with a certain account that they gave us a number for...the phone number they called in on is in a seasonal house and only on for 3 mo. of the year...interesting.
- daveGot a message from EOCCA same as above...
seems they are the debt collections agency for Sirius Xm radio
Claiming that i owed money resulting from a terminated contract that they auto renewed with out my knowledge. As soon as I got their bill I tried to cancel, AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS ON HOLD FOR 15 TO 20 MINS I GAVE UP
their mode of operation is to put you on hold , or transfer you to a dead number. They do not allow you to cancel
AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTH I DID GET THROUGH to a person who allowed me to cancel and told me that my account balance was zeroed.
Then the calls start from the EOCCA
today i have contacted sirrius and the same pattern emerges person answers I ask to be transferred to a manager Im on Hold then transferred to nothing..- Caller: Eocca
